Fone, as long as people believe in conspiracy theories, and watch wrestling, they are real.

The other day, I got an EVP at the haunted Dairy Queen near my house that told me where to find Bigfoot.

You in? I need help dragging him out of the woods.

British PM Theresa May accuses Russia of deploying the nerve agent 'Novichok' on British soil.

She and her government have given the Kremlin two days to comprehensively respond to the accusation. As she said in the House of Commons in an emergency session Russia has either willingly deployed a military grade nerve agent in a city of 40,000 people, the FSB has gone rogue on this one or that they have misplaced the nerve agent entirely and it has ended up in the hands of extremists.

Either way, this could get very dicey.

This is how the UK press is covering it.

Yeah it was pretty biased but nothing the author said was actually false, so far Tillerson, not Trump, has been the only one to condemn Russia for attacking people with a freakin nerve agent.

That article does fail to take historical context into account. If something like this had happened during the Reagan administration and it was Thatcher's UK that had been 'attacked' during the Cold War then it would have been an even bigger international incident and yes, Reagan would have done something. It could just be that Trump is waiting for absolute confirmation or more likely for the response from Russia before commenting/taking action. I doubt he'd want to make things more complicated than they already are by prematurely wading in.

This will be pretty serious test of the post-Brexit relationship between the UK and the EU though, that's the real story here if you ask me.

So, I just woke up and looking at the TV. From what I see, the house Republicans involved in the Russia investigation abandoned said investigation to tell Trump what he wanted to hear, leaving the Democrats involved to do, say, investigate, and release whatever they want.

This is a smart and praiseworthy decision...how?

So, what happens if Mueller drags out the investigation till after the mid-terms and releases new information these Republicans don't have if and/or when Dems take more seats, take back the house, etc.

From Trump's point of view, I'd be furious they quit because there's no point to any of them being on the inside, throttling wild ideas and giving a heads up on new information.

The House committee stopped being relevant when its chairman had to recuse himself for being a Trump lapdog, they couldn't even compel witnesses to testify by the end. They even have their own GOP members saying it lost its credibility.

So are they not actually a backbone of the investigation?

I honestly don't know where they stand in the investigation.

Well being President is kinda big deal. It's like getting promoted at work. Why wouldn't you take the job ? You want to moderate this forum forever. Or would you take a better job moderating a better forum !

Dude is a millionaire with golden toilets. If I could use a golden toilet daily, my life would be complete. Only thing I'd still want is to only flush with Fiji water or something so I could say, like "I only ***in the finest spring water."

They should have been, but like I said they have been dysfunctional from the start. Steve Bannon went before them and refused to answer questions, which is illegal, and they couldn't even hold him in contempt. Nothing the House Intel Committee says should be paid any attention as long as Nunes is chairing it.
