But Trump doesn't listen to the ones with differing opinions.

]Gary Cohn resigning as top White House economic adviser

The White House National Economic Council director had differences with the president over tariffs.

Dow futures have tumbled over 300 points over the news of Cohn resigning, that number is going to get a lot larger by tomorrow morning.

This is nothing compared to what will happen if the tariffs are enacted.

But that's not going to happen anytime soon.

I do believe that in order to use the flimsy national security excuse it has to be taken up with the WTO. That will take a year or more.

And, interestingly enough, it puts the WTO in a bind. Either allow a patently ridiculous excuse or turn the petulant orange baby down who might very well pull the USA out of the WTO.

Its true that when he enacts the tariffs the markets will plummet worldwide. It will take a while for the WTO to intervene, by then the damage will be done.

Uh, pretty sure Trump has plenty of people that kiss his feet in the WH on a daily basis. The people that disagree with him have either bolted or are on their way out.

Every president has butt-kissers. But look at how many Obama had. Didn't seem to do him much good, did it? Eight years in office and not much to show for it.

Unlike Obamacare, which was pretty much only popular after it was falling apart because, uh, nostalgia I guess, public support of the tax reform bill broke 50% fairly quickly. This is extra impressive when you remember how toxic it was before its implementation. Isn't it funny how one's wallet is more convincing than a media smear campaign?

Gonna be pretty ironic when Trump's tariffs wipe out every "positive" the tax cuts for the wealthy did. Job losses, especially in the manufacturing industry, will make people forget about those cuts pretty quickly. Fox News is doing a great job of ignoring this story, but that doesn't mean the damage isn't real.

From an email Cohn sent as featured in Fire and Fury:

It’s worse than you can imagine. An idiot surrounded by clowns. Trump won’t read anything – not one-page memos, not the brief policy papers; nothing. He gets up halfway through meetings with world leaders because he is bored. And his staff is no better. Kushner is an entitled baby who knows nothing. Bannon is an arrogant *** who thinks he’s smarter than he is. Trump is less a person than a collection of terrible traits. No one will survive the first year but his family. I hate the work, but feel I need to stay because I’m the only person there with a clue what he’s doing. The reason so few jobs have been filled is that they only accept people who pass ridiculous purity tests, even for midlevel policy-making jobs where the people will never see the light of day.”

Boom. Popcorn.

So what? People are still free to sign up for it, none of the policies have changed at all. How many signed up last year?

The mandate was still in place last year. Of course people signed up for it. But the prospects are far less rosy than you think. Watch enrollment plummet at the end of the year.

Now now, someone did resign, so we can be generous and say he fouled that one off, which is pretty remarkable. 0 for 782, and still batting.

While discussing North Korea on Saturday, Trump said "they, by the way, called up a couple of days ago. 'We would like to talk.' And I said, 'So would we, but you have to de-nuke, you have to de-nuke.'" In reality, the call on March 1 was with Moon, the official told South Korea's Yonhap News Agency. "President Trump did not have a call with the North Koreans," the official confirmed. The leaders did talk about North Korea, and Moon told Trump about the envoy he was sending to Pyongyang to meet with Kim Jong Un.

Hey now, Trump had a very successful meeting with President Jackie Chan this year. He was able to secure the release of those negro basketball players, even though it has come to light this week that they were already free to go prior to his involvement.

The biggest influence Trump has in Asian affairs is finally asking Xi Jinping how to get free out of a Chinese finger trap.

Well when you rig the justice system how do you think you’re gonna get a conviction? If obama didn’t have the entire justice system wrapped up his entire cabinet would be in jail.

I wouldn't attribute that to President Obama, he was mostly just a puppet for the Democrats. Every nomination he made, every position he filled, every issue he supported were things that he was told to do. He tried being his own President during his first term and it was nearly a disaster, near the end of that he just submitted to the Democrats and followed their agenda. They set up the government to receive President Hillary Clinton, and what we are seeing is the result of that failing.

Ouch. It looks like Democrat Party favorability is at a new low (31%), and this is coming from Quinnipiac, which is typically harsh on Trump approval.

Now, the Republican party is at a similar number, but the Dems typically enjoy a noticeably larger party favorability. At what point in time is the Left going to realize that 24/7 Trump bashing is counterproductive? Getting people to the polls has always been a struggle for them, so how is destroying their own image supposed to motivate people to vote?

Looks like the FL governor signed a gun control bill into law, opposing the NRA. Raised the age limit, installed a waiting period, and creating a program to offer classes to a few teachers to carry a weapon. Meanwhile, Trump met with video game devs yesterday to try to scapegoat them for gun violence, which of course did not work.
