Spring is being held hostage by omniscient groundhogs.

Have you ever heard someone say something like "winter is better than summer because you can always put on more clothes when you're cold"?

Does anyone else want to punch those people in the face?

I get this in theory, used to believe it a little bit myself even. And this is all well and good if you stay inside all the time and/or you live somewhere where you need to drive minimally or otherwise have your lifestyle hampered by the weather.

I don't mind bundling up for going to work or running errands, and there's a certain romance to barhopping in Pittsburgh before a game on a Saturday, like nomads in the Ukraine going door-to-door for succor. And I love a nice Winter Wonderland™ around Christmas, strolling through Market Square through the holiday booths whilst a gentle snow falls.

But trying jogging in a foot of snow or under 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Try spending the Christmas holiday week alone because your family got six feet of snow. Literally.

It gets *** old. Bring on spring.

We got about a foot snow here in the last week, but because the days it actually snowed were spread out, they did a great job of clearing the roads. No big deal, supposed to be 40 and rainy this week, so we might be done with it.

We don't have any snow in the forecast for next 14 days thank the lord. If you look up Fulton, NY snow totals we already got over 115 inches here. I wish they would drain lake ontario in the winter to stop the damn lake effect. On the plus side if you look up Redfield, NY they are directly east of lake ontario and they have gotten over 230 inches.

Anyone mention yet that Obama picked a racist with a “kill whitey” fetish as the artist to commission his painting?
