So yeah, after a year of Nunes not being involved in the investigation, we got a 3 page + 1 paragraph memo that has no impact on anything, and can't even be verified. Biggest scandal ever. I could actually see Trump going like Nixon; he wouldn't stand for being booted out, he'd leave of his own accord. The only way he wouldn't is if he was unable to see it coming.
Oh and on pardoning, Ford kinda set a precedent of pardoning an impeached predecessor.

There are 2 posts after the VP that are in the line of succession before cabinet members. The Speaker of the House of Representatives: Paul Ryan President Pro Tempore of the Senate: Orin Hatch. The scenario your envisioning which has been floated around for over a year now, would give us a President Orin Hatch. If it comes out that Trump didn't have an affair with Hope Hicks, I'll actually be disappointed.
