Can you care longer than I can go without caring?
So what would actually make you care? Literally making things up is not a breaking point so then what is? It's rhetorical obviously since we're apparently not at that point yet so then what is it? How *** up does this have to get to get to the point where it breaks party lines and ideology doesn't matter? I guess I don't understand or relate to whatever your definition of caring is because maybe our investment in this all varies. I really don't know. What needs to happen for this to matter?

"It never got weird enough for me" -HST

I'm interested to find out myself where the breaking point is.

Not just for me, but for everyone. You might have to stop caring before anyone else starts. Maybe give the Tommy Tattle tale routine a little break.

There's a little known story called "The Boy Who Called Wolf". Unfortunately, the story ends after the real wolf shows up, wrecks some livestock, and the boy feels bad.

Now we're seeing what the story would have been like if the boy had continued to cry wolf even after the fact, every day, without fail. Maybe he's right, maybe he's not right, but the point is that nobody listens to him anymore, except for those who for some reason think they have something to gain from it.

Either way, the boy has some serious issues.

Or maybe just kill the wolf?

It's hard to do that when it's imaginary.

The system needed Trump to come in there and stir ***up cause some chaos. Complacency hasn't really done much for America.

People really don't seem to understand this part. "President Trump" couldn't be prevented, it was an inevitability based on the trajectory of our political system. It was merely a matter of time until a Trump-Like entity got elected into office by a disillusioned electoral base. And as anticipated the established political system explodes into chaos.

So all the lefties and righties bitching and moaning about President Trump, we're just going to nod our heads and smile because your complaining and chest thumping is exactly what people wanted to see. It's still a bit early to tell but at this trajectory President Trump will be reelected in 2020.

BAD DAWG!!!!!!
Best way to deal with a rabid dog is to euthanize it. Blue wave in 2018, cut off any form of farm aide to the fly-over states in 2019 and let them deal with losing federal money for fifty years or so.

I hope you don't own any pets !

Best traffic of the day consists of all my liberal friends insisting "it's a bubble", or it's still the work of Obama, or even insinuating that the market going up is somehow a terrible thing.

Libs have officially lost it.

I bet everyone of you on that edge still has your money in the market. I will not take any of you seriously until you put your money where your mouth is and push your retirement funds out of the market.

While the republicans are dead set on welcoming a CHILD MOLESTER into the senate? Yeah, right.

I think it does. I was on this very website, years ago, complaining about Obama using the presidency as a celebrity vehicle. I said something to the effect of 'the president shouldn't be on talk shows, it's below his stature' and everyone laughed at square ole' quaint midwest mosin. I was told it didn't matter. so now this orange car saleman takes the next logical step in the downward spiral and HE'S the one who's 'destroying the dignity of the office'? I don't get it. this is, presumably what the dems wanted until it backfired, and one of their guys wasn't the big celebrity. idk wtf any of us are supposed to do. I didn't vote for trump, yet I'm inundated with *** about how evil a *** he is. I'm missing the steps in between occasional talk show guest to serial twitter troll. Those need to be explicitly filled in.

I also don't understand the mentality of breaking something to fix it. It's like driving my car into a light pole because the check engine light came on.

If the car represents the country and the check engine light represents its problems, then it'd be more fitting to include the repair shop owner (government) who hires far too many people than are needed for the job, takes months to "fix" anything, overcharges you for the services performed, and hands the car back to you with a whole new set of problems.

And on that note, it's hard to think of Trump as the equivalent of driving the car into a light pole when the economy is booming more than it ever did under Obama.

I think Obama paved the way for a 'celebrity' candidate. I don't know that other people share this notion, but that's how I saw it go down.

neither do I. maybe they don't care? we are a pretty narcissistic people these days. maybe ignoring your neighbors, co-workers, and countrymen since the invention of the automobile was our downfall, I don't really know man. I think trump voters are all retired, angry, confused, and figure, '*** you, we'll burn it all down, then see how YOU *** fare'. the 'you' being all their perceived enemies. lefties, brown folks, and young people. FOX has been trying to goad them for years now, I'm not terribly surprised it worked. are you?
