I'm sure as soon as a tax cut is proposed that would benefit the poor instead of costing them millions it will garner plenty of support. But there is no such proposal.

The poor dont pay any taxes under any plan... how is it going to "cost them millions"...because I'd like to be that poor.

And so vic... you obviously heard the "cost them millions" line before you wrote it here and you obviously thought it made sense enough to repeat it...

it never raised a question in your mind? Really?

The tax legislation already lowered the income tax, that they don't pay, while limiting the credits and other "free money" that they got.

So basically, they are not better off and are being stripped from their benefits, great plan! What's next, forced labor in coal mines? MAGA!

What exactly do you think is happening to the middle class? Being stripped of their earnings to have them given to the non-workers while those same non-workers demand even more free stuff.

This is a common strategy which has been used plenty by democrats, it's all smoke and mirrors. It's not because you keep mentioning constantly the middle class that they are the ones receiving the major benefits, they are receiving peanuts for a couple of years only so the rich can enjoy their massive tax cuts.

It's basically, take from the poor, give to the rich and give free obama phones to the middle class.

WTF are you smoking... your not even American.

You realize almost all welfare / social programs are means tested, meaning you need to be under a certain income to qualify. Middle class are right above that income line and don't get those welfare programs while simultaneously being forced to pay for them. Obamacare is a prime example, ridiculous sums of money being taken from the middle class and used to fund healthcare for lower class.

I know it's impossible for your brain to handle this, the middle class is who gets taxed into oblivion not the wealthy. Wealthy individuals earn their income through passive investments, those investments are only taxed on the amount disbursed and at a lower rate then the federal income tax brackets used for everyone else along with a much wider set of potential deductions (it's a bit more complicated but that's the end result). Trump's plan was to reduce the number of deductions available, ones that you can take in place of the standard deduction (which low and middle class people use) while also lowering the absolute rate. Middle class would see the greatest increase in net income.

Do you even read, like actually read, the stuff or just take the sound bites off CNN / MSNBC made by a paid propagandist.

Because the poor are entitled to have access to the income of the professional middle class. As poor disadvantaged people it's their birthright to continue the propagation of a class of voter forever dependent on the government for subsistence, and how can they do that without the money the middle class earns by working actual jobs.

A single mother with four kids from different fathers believes she's entitled to the income from someone who spent their entire life building a career and working their *** off to rise into the middle class. That is what Vic, Zero, The Canadian and so forth are saying. They try to use "the rich" as boogeymen to justify stealing from regular average hard working people who made good life choices.

Doesn't matter, they'll vote however their told to vote anyway. The entire "Public Comment System" is a joke because they never actually bother with the feedback.

Thats quite a huge block of text to validate my point, middle class is being given peanuts while the wealthy gets everything.

Dude do you even read...

Current Republican plan doesn't change much if anything in regards to the taxes the wealthy actually pay. You can't apply Obama's tax system to Trump then call it bad.

Stop commenting on American tax policy if you don't understand the American tax system that funds your national defense.

You are missing the big picture, in the end the middle class is going to save a couple hundred dollars for the first couple of years and then they will breakeven to ultimately be worse off. While the richest will save millions every year.

You can scream all you want the middle class is getting the biggest part of the tax cut, it's all smoke and mirrors.

USA isn't defending Canada against any threat so have fun trying to be the world police to justify your bloated military wasting tax payers money.

The big picture is no one gives a ***but like 3 people here.

We should think about the fact that there’s a range of misbehavior, from the merely improper to the fully horrific, and that the same punishment will not be suitable for every guy we’re about to hear is skeevy. Al Franken made some bad jokes and crossed lines, probably without intending to. John Conyers had to settle lawsuits because he aggressively harassed women. Roy Moore molested or tried to molest minor children....

Canadian national defense, like the rest of NATO, is subsidized and paid for by the USA. Peace and stability in Canada is 100% built on the USA being "World Police" and ensuring no dictator or aggressive nation decided to annex said Canada. *** yourself all you want, history is replete with aggressive nations deciding they need "room to grow" and grabing land from their neighbors. In fact I think most of World History is exactly that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Armed_Forces

Canadian military is .. get this ... 68K with 32K in "reserve".

Size of US Military is 1.2 million with another 811K in "reserve".

And then we got all the expensive weapons platforms including the floating cities and mobile operating bases that are modern aircraft carriers.

The USA could easily cut it's defense by two thirds and have a sufficient ability to guarantee national defense, it just couldn't guarantee the national defense of the other NATO members or do much of anything else. Many Americans, including myself, want this to happen, dissolve NATO and let all the other countries in the world fend for themselves.

Our guy is a Democrat so we should give him a pass, their guy is an evil nasty Republican so we should draw and quarter him publicly to serve as a deterrent to others.

Maybe they will get the message then when you spend 60 bucks you should get a full game. Not a half baked game filled with micro transactions and DLC
