Lets get back to why she might have requested the unmasking for all the incidental Trump surveillance?
Because its the NSA's job to know who is talking, why they are talking, and what they are talking about. Not improper, not illegal.

Rice is reportedly being called to testify before the House Intel committee.
(Shiroi, at this point you can still suspect this report of being "facts I don't like") They consider it facts I don't like because Brian Williams and Chris Matthews say it's facts I don't like.
They should know, they create it all the time!
Turning real stories into something with less credibility than The Onion is an art. Those two deserve lifetime achievement awards.

She unmasked the transcripts. What purpose does unmasking have other than to share with others?

Says who? It seems like it is the job of the NSC to make sure that all intel agencies are on the same page. But if you have proof otherwise, feel free to share.

The ICs job is to figure out those details and present them to the WH. By the time it gets to her, the information is vetted to the point where she shouldn't have to unmask anyone. She doesn't assist the IC or the overall investigation in any way by unmasking people deemed unimportant enough to remain masked according to the IC.
Rice isn't working on the case trying to connect the dots. The only reason to request someone be unmasked is because it benefits the WH someway.

This too. If she unmasked them, and they were eventually leaked, then how did they get out if she did not share them with someone?

I wouldn't say anyone is connecting the dots. The Left is drawing in the dots and hoping the lines will magically appear if they stare hard enough.

It seems like it is the job of the NSC to make sure that all intel agencies are on the same page. But not the IRS/DoT.
Nor the DEA.
Nor the DoEn.
Nor the Marine Corps.
Nor the Air Force.
Nor the Army.
Nor the Coast Guard.
Nor the National Reconnaissance Office.
That's half of the ICs that now have access to Trump's transcripts that do not need to know what's in them.
Can you tell us why any of the above agencies need to know anything about what Trump had for breakfast on Inauguration Day?
Edit: Cause I can.
Edit 2: Damn it Rooks Kojo Lina!

You have no idea who has access to any of the collections aside from the obvious.

You have no idea who has access to any of the collections aside from the obvious. Are you saying that Obama never loosened the barriers that prevented such sharing of unneeded information across the intelligence community?
Hell, the NYTs reported it so you can't say it's "facts I don't like" (cause, you know, you agree with their agenda).

Yeah too bad there is nothing illegal about unmasking people in the intelligence community. Meanwhile, Trump welcomed a murderer and tyrant who illegally took control of his country through military force into the WH yesterday. Sad! Great I can't wait for Trump to weaponize all the IC against democrats and the media in that case. Good thing he doesn't have that power. Then again his tweets are weaponized enough.

Quote: In its final days, the Obama administration has expanded the power of the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying privacy protections.
It's the opening freaking paragraph. Would have taken you 2 seconds to not look like a fool.

So does this mean you have abandoned your position of the NSA isn't allowed/supposed to share intel and instead taken up complaining about who gets the intel?

Why should any of the above agencies need to know or have access to Trump's supposedly "incidental collections" of phone conversations he isn't being investigated on? Why should some paper pusher at the Department of Energy be allowed raw intelligence data about Trump talking to the Ambassador of Australia?
Hell, I could have hit the nail on the head on who leaked top secret national security information, thanks to Obama's loosing the rules on intel sharing between agencies.
You still haven't explained why any of the above agencies need to know this information. Don't worry, I'm not going to hold my breath.

Oh yes, the old "4th amendment" argument that died so long ago. You are gonna need way more than that. Unmasking people is not illegal. Leaking their names to the public is illegal, and since that hasn't happened, there is no crime by the IC.
I am wondering tho, what was team trump doing that landed them on the radar of the IC? Who were they talking to? What were they talking about? Actually it doesn't have to be the individual exposed in the conversation at all. It could have been name dropping between a target and someone else.
Like say target X is talking to person Y and says "I saw person Z jaywalking." Both Y and Z are now in the record. If instead X says "I saw Z robbing a bank" Z would be unmasked to other agencies.

Flynn says otherwise, he lost a job because of this ***.
