There is no striking it down prior to his signing because no one would have standing yet, and you're confusing the 5th amendment with precedent.

Prosecutorial misconduct in a criminal trial... the court of appeals overturned the conviction from the second trial because of the original mistrial and the "overreach"
Double jeopardy was referenced in this case but it didn't prevent them from bringing a second trial after the first mistrial...it didn't have anything to do with the actions of the courts or judges but the prosecutor and it seems like they overturned it because the prosecutor in this case was going out of his way to convict this guy with skethy testimony... You can't be put on criminal trial for the same crime but you can have civil suits brought against you ex: CA v OJ (criminal) followed up with Goldman v OJ (Civil). I like Twitter it's pretty convenient to group up all your interests in one place. I don't use it as a social media platform or tweet, I actually keep it private with 0 followers. I just have one to follow a bunch of news & politics sources right and left, sports teams/updates, video game developers, various people within those industries, my favorite personalities, comedians etc. You can even follow your favorite pornstars, Fone!
