She requested unmasking of individuals within surveillance that she knew knew nothing about?

Whats your source that Rice requested unmasking of these people?

I posted this yesterday

Quote:
The White House Counsel’s office identified Rice as the person responsible for the unmasking after examining Rice’s document log requests. The reports Rice requested to see are kept under tightly-controlled conditions. Each person must log her name before being granted access to them.

Here's the same ***but from bloomberg.

Quote:
White House lawyers last month learned that the former national security adviser Susan Rice requested the identities of U.S. persons in raw intelligence reports on dozens of occasions that connect to the Donald Trump transition and campaign, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

The pattern of Rice's requests was discovered in a National Security Council review of the government's policy on "unmasking" the identities of individuals in the U.S. who are not targets of electronic eavesdropping, but whose communications are collected incidentally.

No I mean you could still suspect that it's "facts I don't like" but given that Rice hasn't denied these reports. I'd argue that you're holding onto a big nothing burger, but that's certainly isn't something unusual in our ffxi fam.

So the "sources" are a pair of blogs, one of which focuses on the transition, neither of which pass nausi's criteria of being independently verified.

It's facts I don't like if it's false. But you could certainly suspect the "Susan Rice thing" (whatever you specifically mean by that) of being facts I don't like until it's otherwise verified.

So it can be facts I don't like while being true? This concept is hard to grasp.

Clearly you're struggling with the concept.

One needs to be able to reasonably verify that it's true before it could no longer be considered "facts I don't like". Problem is that libs (in particular) point to big huge news outlets (MSM) and say "case closed" embracing the notion that they're motivated by promoting the truth instead of their narrative's and their ideology.

Keep trying and one day you'll understand.

So where's the outrage if Rice has requested to unmask individuals? It's a normal procedure.

Ok lets discuss why she, as an advisor to the president would need to know the identities of individuals caught up in incidental surveillance.

What are those reasons?

So just about everything Trump says is facts I don't like according to your own standard.
No, you're still not getting it. Man you're struggling

Might have a thing to do with the fact she's the National Security Advisor ...

Because she's Susan Rice, is not an argument.

It has less to do with the legality of Rice's actions, but more to do with the appearance of political motivations for her actions. The fact that she's lying and backtracking is just hurting her case, and her proven history of lying isn't helping.

If that's part of her job, then it's a non-issue. So what are the reasons you are trying to imply?

How is it part of her job? Let's crack open the implication that she needs to unmask people often or at all.

If you believe Vic, she isn't allowed to unmask anyone. So why did she need to request it for trump and/or members of his team?

Fox News is the one that made up the Rice story, probably to distract from the huge sex scandal that is drowning them.
Is The Hill making up the Rice story also?

How about NBC News and it's affiliate, MSN?

Washington Post?

Notice that all of these sources are liberal sources. Sources you generally agree with. Are the all facts I don't like to you?

Or are you talking out of your ***, per usual?

How can this be politically motivated if it wasn't used politically? How could she have prior knowledge these were Trump associates if she had to obtain approval to unmask the names in the first place?

No it isn't.

Unmasking Americans who happened to be "incidentally" collected in foreign intelligence info gatherings are not normal procedure, especially when such intelligence information is (also not under normal procedure) shared to agencies who have no need or right to see such intelligence.

What Rice did was illegal, since she didn't need to know such information nor was privy to such intelligence.

Right? They are reporting on responses to the unverified allegations. In no way do they lend any credence to the made up story.

Let me guess, to you, the moon landing was made up, as the terrorist attacks on 9/11/01, JFK being assassinated, and the Berlin Wall is still up and working as intended. All that is made up to you, by the sounds of it.

Why would a UN Ambassador need to know classified intelligence on any "investigations" going on in the US? Especially one that may or may not pertain a political candidate?

Why also would she unmask such information that she doesn't even need to have?

Can you tell us why she would need such information and why she would need to unmask such information?

No to all? Care to try again? Or giving up? You just made up a bunch of stuff and you can't back it up with anything, especially the funny bit about how what Rice "did" was illegal, when you can't even prove she did anything. Of course, lets not discount your claim that the intel community doesn't have the right to intel.
