Also I'm not personally advocating that people sit around and wallow in unhappiness at the unfairness of the world merely acknowledging the fact that hard work isnt the only factor in success or happiness...
It's a major factor. Can you at least admit that?

They'll never admit that, it would greatly impair their justification to confiscate other people's wealth.

Finally hard work doesn't have jack ***to do with success. You can work hard digging ditches your entire life and still not improve upon your situation. Working hard isn't the key, working smart is the key. Doing proper research, accumulating knowledge, learning how to be successful, making a plan, and being open to reevaluation of that plan and adjusting as necessary. In days long past only wealthy individuals had access to the necessary knowledge, but as basic education became universal opportunities opened up and once the internet was created the playing field was finally leveled. Knowledge is the key to self improvement and personal growth, those are the keys to success. Success isn't owning something handed to you, that's just status quot. Success is improving your quality of life relative to where you started.

So yes, the circumstances of your birth put you at an advantage over the average american.
This ultimately DOES NOT matter. There are plenty of people who get rich by pure chance and loose it all because of their attitude. People love to hear it though because it gives them a ready made excuse for their failures.

One does not need to be dealt 3 of a kind in order to win a round of poker, you can win the hand being dealt crap in the beginning.

remember how wealthy Van Gogh

van gogh created most of his works in the last two years of his life...right before he killed himself. he failed to "make bank" NOT because he was just "unlucky".... but because he was a psychotic... suffering from delusions and had a manic depressive episode resulting in a suicide.

to say that "luck" had anything to do with his "success" as an artist or monetary lack thereof, is moronic bordering on completely oblivious.

and really flavin!? you're using justin bieber as the basis for your theory that the luck gods are infinitely unfair? c'mon man 50,000 years of human history and you chose to focus on "the Beibs!?"... wtf.....

wait.... he is from canada though... so you might be on to something...

if you'll admit that his delusions of grandeur and persecution by the sinister cabal of progressive liberal communists he imagines imposes it's will behind the shadows are sometimes more interesting than reality. then I'll agree that the lack of a cohesive structure to his sentiments, which and because they are largely based on these same paranoid delusions can get a little tedious...

I never said it wasn't a big part... that's all in your heads because you're still listening to the words of hippies protesting in puddles and attributing it to every other conversation you have with others... it's like you and the race thing I don't think anyone has ever called you racist here yet you still get up in arms over things like that even though your only association to the word is that you're conservative and people have generally called conservatives racist?

I don't know why you even listen to the crazies and even more so get all worked up about it...

The tipping point by Malcom Gladwell is the book I was talking about yesterday...

I think I stated at one point many moons ago that he was unknowingly a bit racist in the sense that I suspect most people are at least a little bit racist on a subconscious/instinctual/conditioned level and he's been running with it ever since.

Which is who I was arguing against. That you chimed in on.

I'm calling them out on their ***. Liberals are equally racist (BLM, Al Sharpton, most colleges, etc.) but yet, they think it's not only acceptable, it needs to be advanced further. Because feels.

Honestly, if I was as worked up on it as you infer, I would be protesting.

Posting on this website is not the same as getting worked up on it. Sure, conversations are escalated here quite often, but the level of escalation never exceeds being an armchair analysis.

I already read it. Don't agree with it, but I have read it a while back.

A) I did not bring up racism. How can I be "running with it" if I didn't bring up the topic?

B) You just don't want to admit that you are justifying your own racism by saying "well, everyone's racist, so it's ok if I am." and not actively trying to, you know, not be racist.
