And now we replay a scenario from 2013, only flipped.
Schumer: Hey guys, how about we delay this vote thing for a few weeks?
Senate Republicans: No.
Schumer: Hey guys, how about we delay this vote thing for, uh, I dunno, several hours or something?
Senate Republicans: /Sigh... No. So basically all you're saying is that repubs are just as bad as Dems? Ok...
Dems can sit there and say the same thing... pubs were being hopelessly obstructive so the Dems did this... just like the pubs are doing now... it's like you forget there are two sides to the petty *** ***behavior then somehow try to use stuff like to defend the position... at the time I disagreed with how the pubs were acting and I disagreed with how the Dems responded... it's the same now but switched...
I literally just pointed out in the post that you quoted how this was the same thing that happened in 2013 with the situation flipped, and you lecture me on how I forget that there are two sides to this? Do you even think before you type?

You reference it flipping and only speak about the Dems like they're doing something incorrect... in both cases both of them are yet you only take a dump on the Dems... you act like what the pubs are doing now is somehow justified...
the two sides I'm speaking about are how each of them acted not just that the situation is flipped like you talked about... but kudos for you on not defending anything and instead insulting me like you like to point out I do to you guys too much lol... typical hypocritical behavior on your part though...

Most Republicans don't care what happens to Donald Trump.
we're so fractured as a party right now it will be a vatican sanctioned miracle if we can pull our collective heads out of our *** and get anything done.
we have the nevertrumpers still out there and fiscal conservatives that think mike pence is acting like a pussy... the freedom coalition and the tea party... jebus
I think most have given up hope trump will get off twitter/start acting presidential and are walking around (or rolling around- charles krauthammer) saying "I told you so" to anyone that will listen....

it will be a vatican sanctioned miracle if we can pull our collective heads out of our *** and get anything done. In "Vatican-sanctioned Miracle" news today:
Republicans uses the "Reid rule" and nukes the cloture rule on Supreme Court nominees
Quote: Senate Republicans on Thursday crushed a Democratic blockade of President Donald Trump's U.S. Supreme Court nominee in a fierce partisan brawl, approving a rule change dubbed the "nuclear option" to allow for conservative judge Neil Gorsuch's confirmation by Friday.
With ideological control of the nation's highest court at stake, the Republican-led Senate voted 52-48 along party lines to change its long-standing rules in order to prohibit a procedural tactic called a filibuster against Supreme Court nominees. That came after Republicans failed by a 55-45 tally to muster the 60-vote super-majority needed to end the Democratic filibuster that had sought to deny Gorsuch confirmation to the lifetime post.
The Senate's action paved the way to confirm Gorsuch by simple majority, with a vote expected at roughly 7 p.m. (2399 GMT) on Friday. Republicans control the Senate 52-48. The rule change was called the "nuclear option" because it was considered an extreme break with Senate tradition.
Trump had encouraged Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to "go nuclear." Confirmation of Gorsuch would represent Trump's first major victory since taking office on Jan. 20, after setbacks on healthcare legislation and his blocked order to prevent people from several Muslim-majority nations from entering the United States.
"This will be the first and last partisan filibuster of the Supreme Court," McConnell said on the Senate floor, accusing Democrats of trying to inflict political damage on Trump and to keep more conservatives from joining the high court.
"In 20 or 30 or 40 years, we will sadly point to today as a turning point in the history of the Senate and the Supreme Court, a day when we irrevocably moved further away from the principles our founders intended for these institutions: principles of bipartisanship, moderation and consensus," Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said on the Senate floor.
Schumer ridiculed McConnell's contention that the Democratic action was unprecedented, noting that the Republican-led Senate last year refused to consider Democratic former President Barack Obama's nomination of appellate judge Merrick Garland for the same high court seat that Trump selected Gorsuch to fill.
Senate confirmation of Gorsuch, 49, would restore the nine-seat court's 5-4 conservative majority, enable Trump to leave an indelible mark on America's highest judicial body and fulfill a top campaign promise by the Republican president. Gorsuch could be expected to serve for decades.
A conservative-majority court is more likely to support gun rights, an expansive view of religious liberty, abortion regulations and Republican-backed voting restrictions, while opposing curbs on political spending. The court also is likely to tackle transgender rights and union funding in coming years.

Clearly the pope hasn't hung out with enough gaming nerds to realize that encouraging them to go outdoors is a public disservice.

If the Pope really wants people to get into religion he would release his on Pope GTA type of game. Where he shoots Bibles at non believers.

Conflict, lol!
There is no conflict because there is no evidence of anything.
And this is after a year of them following them around like a divorce investigation. The conflict, at least for me, is that he seems to be to involved with Trump. Nunes doesn't work for Trump... he shouldn't be running off to discuss this with him before doing what they're supposed to do... it's not like the investigation ends if they step aside it will continue on... much like the investigations into HRC until they're not needed anymore... notice how they mysteriously went away once trump won and no one in congress seemed to give a ***anymore? Lol...
its funny to hear people accuse others of only being politically motivated as the carry on with their politically motivated stuff...
What's the evidence that he works with trump?

Reminder there is still no evidence tying Trump to any Russian hacking / influencing.
Why did we need such detailed reports on people the IC intentionally masked who were wrapped up in the incidental surveillance of Russian diplomats? Are you under the impression that investigations involving classified intel slowly release information to the public as it becomes available? Honest question:
Are you really holding out on this? Do you really think some bombshell is gonna be unloaded? Or are you of the opinion that the only purpose here is to otherwise slow down and de-legitimize this current administration?

Jared Kushner Helped Push Steve Bannon Out Of The NSC So? I am amused by the palace intrigue aspects of it. You may remember that I was stocking up on popcorn.
I found a much deeper article on it.
Inside the White House, paranoia and unrest among top staff
Openers:
Quote: (CNN)In the West Wing, Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon occupy some of the most coveted real estate. Priebus, the chief of staff, enjoys the only outdoor patio in the White House. Bannon is mere steps from the Oval Office.
But as President Donald Trump approaches the closing stretch of his first 100 days, with controversies far outweighing accomplishments, both men have no idea whether their time in those powerful rooms is nearly up.
As Trump tries to recalibrate, he is eager to move past a string of disappointments that have left him frustrated, mistrustful of Washington and historically unpopular. One person who speaks with the President privately said he has begun asking friends: "What do you think of my team?"...

Wow, Shia LeBeouf's latest film tripled its ticket sales in the U.K. compared to its opening weekend.
That's right, it had three ticket sales this weekend, putting total U.K. sales at $26. What a success story.

Nunes was on the Trump campaign transition to the White House team.
The group that was picked up "incidentally" by intelligence agency surveillances.

One person who speaks with the President privately said he has begun asking friends: "What do you think of my team?"... Here's the problem:
Don Lemon, speaking on behalf of CNN, stated: "we will not insult your intelligence by pretending otherwise, nor will we aid and abet the people who were trying to misinform you the American people by creating a diversion."
And yet, there they are, insulting the American people's intelligence by aiding and abetting people (themselves mostly) who are actively trying to misinform us by creating a diversion.
Congratulations, CNN. You went full circle in less than 48 hours. Good job!

I think everyone knew that Bannon wasn't going to last long in the WH. Too big of an ego, doesn't have nearly as much influence as he thinks, and doesn't actually know anything about legislating. You would think that a former administration spying and possibly committing illegal, banana-republic-type acts of governance on the current administration would be top headlines, instead of one person who apparently wouldn't stay on the NSC for very long getting kicked out.
Then again, the media is so focused on rumor and hearsay that they don't even bother doing any journalism.
