I once met a guy who was Russian. Does that make me an agent of a foreign power too?

Maybe someone should have told him fighting with the FBI and the CIA is nothing like a tweet war with Rosie O'Donnell...That and maybe he shouldn't try to put words in their mouth via twitter during a congressional hearing.
Get ready zero, the day where everyone has to come to terms with "nothing happened between trump and the russians" is coming. There is a growing and palpable fear on the dem side that expectations have grown so big for a payout that's never gonna happen. The rabid fever on this nothing burger is out of control.
Comey also verified yesterday that the Russians didn't furnish Wikileaks with Podesta's emails. "Nothing happened between Trump and the Russians..." Yeah, right. His son and son-in-law had a private meeting with a certain Russian ambassador at Trump Tower months before the election. Roger Stone, a long time Trumper, got caught colluding with Guccifer 2.0 who was hacking the DNC on Putin's orders. Paul Manafort tried to illegally solicit campaign donations from Russian bankers. Michael Flynn, Sr., got caught working as an agent of a foreign power while taking part in an election campaign.
You don't have that much collusion with the Russians going on in your own team without being aware of it and giving the ok for it.
By Zerowone 2017-03-21 09:55:07
Comey also confirmed yesterday that there is no evidence, zero of vote hacking in any of those surprise battleground states.
No he didn't. Trump tweeted he did, then at the hearing the panel asked Comey to clarify to which Comey said that was not his intent and that he hasn't begun the investigation manipulation of votes in swing states.
Trump lying on twitter about a hearing that was about Trump lying on twitter was impressive.
However, you should watch/listen to the hearings and not your spin doctors take on them.

I once met a guy who was Russian. Does that make me an agent of a foreign power too? Worse, it makes you a willing participant of a conspiracy to overthrow the government.
That's what the crazy left wants you to think. Stop fraternizing with the enemy. Also, stop being the enemy.

Here's an excerpt from the New York Times:
Quote: NUNES: So — so you have no intelligence that suggests, or evidence that suggests, any votes were changed?
ROGERS: I have nothing generated by the national security industry, sir.
NUNES: Director Comey, do you have any evidence at the FBI that any votes were changed in the states that I mentioned to Admiral Rogers?
COMEY: No.

Quote: They'll be back in 2020. They maybe back in 2018 and one of the lessons they may draw from this is that they were successful, because they introduced chaos and divisions and discord and sowed doubt about the nature of this amazing country of ours and our democratic process
-Comey, yesterday at the Hearing on Russia's interference with the 2016 election.
Sounds like some of you posters here are saying the director of the FBI is a conspiracy theorist...

You can't draw a distinction between what Comey is saying and what CJ is saying? I don't think you'd want that kind of shot to whatever credibility you'd like to lay claim to.

To add, they didn't target voting machines but they did target voter registration systems.
There's a difference between targeting a system and actually successfully infiltrating a system, however. This only proves that the Russians are jerks, not that Trump or his team are in any way accountable for it, nor that Trump wouldn't have won without Russian aid. So.... Yeah.

Oh but there is more and you should have dug deeper into the transcripts:
But since I don't have time here is a video that puts your point to bed:

You guys should learn to check the "entire" hearing before using the early portion as evidence to support a claim that was latter clarified on.

High Crimes and Misdemeanors
Quote: The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct peculiar to officials, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming, and refusal to obey a lawful order. Offenses by officials also include ordinary crimes, but perhaps with different standards of proof and punishment than for nonofficials, on the grounds that more is expected of officials by their oaths of office. I've bolded the ones that may apply to Trump. OK, now go convince the republicans in the house to file articles of impeachment.

How can Trump be impeached if the Russian rigged the election ? Shouldn't Putin be impeached instead...

I highly doubt Trump is accountable for anything related to Russia, I think he's just an idiot, but it wouldn't be surprising if people around him are accountable for some things.
As for Trump not winning without Russia's help, it's impossible to tell honestly. Comey stated the Russian operation goal was to help Trump win but when they saw he had absolutely no chance of winning, they changed their plan to just hurt Clinton as much as possible to undermine her presidency.
The main issue that I see is the following attitude:
*Someone does something illegal to reveal nasty truths about Clinton or her team* -
"Who cares what Clinton and her team did? We have to get to the bottom of who was behind the leak!"
*Someone does something illegal to reveal nasty truths about Trump or his team* -
"Who cares who was behind the leak? We have to hold Trump and his team accountable for this!"

but it wouldn't be surprising if people around him are accountable for some things. The problem is, Trump's people did nothing illegal or even questionable, since every single president's aides have done the exact same things prior.
If they punish Trump's people now, it will bite them in the *** in future administrations. Which, frankly, is too much of a short term win to justify the large long term losses those administrations will suffer in the future.

Then I will put on the ballot for a special election for next year:
"Do you wish to see Ted Cruz slam the door on his nuts?"
I'm sure I can find enough people to sign a petition to put it on the ballot. I would vote for that.
Exactly, maybe have a democratic vote on which toiletpaper The Donald is getting to wipe his *** with. #40 sandpaper....

But since I don't have time here is a video that puts your point to bed:
The point was that there was no evidence of actual vote hacking. Comey came out and said there was no evidence. Using a phrase like "influencing the electoral process" is very broad and could imply a million things.

How can Trump be impeached if the Russian rigged the election ? Shouldn't Putin be impeached instead... No see, Putin is a jerk, and trump knows him, so trump should be impeached because of association.
Well trump doesn't actually know him but his staffers do so same deal.
Well trumps staffers don't know him they know people he knows, so same deal.
There I just proved Trump hacked and stole the election.
