Known knowns:

Trump basically has 3 teams working for him. There's the bankers and billionaires team, the alt right team, and the family team.

Trump's management style is to have teams and set them in competition.

Basic assumption: "Roger Stone is being set up to be the fall guy..."

Given that he isn't on the alt right team we must assume either he is aligned with the B&B team or the family team or is unaligned. I find unaligned improbable.

All of these teams are no strangers to small group power politics, all have a motive to undermine the other teams.

I still somehow smell a Bannon in the woodpile.


This is why I mentioned John Dean. Most of us here were born after Watergate and the name is forgotten in general consciousness of the US population. However, when the man that was labeled the "master-mind of the Watergate cover-up", is saying the White House is in cover up mode it's worth taking notice.

If there is an investigation into a Russian / Trump conspiracy to hack the election, which has resulted (intentionally or not) in leaks of transcripts of phone calls, how are such transcripts not obtained through some kind of surveillance?

Don't see it as a competition, moreso kindred spirits enjoying some comaraderie to kill time.

That may be but taking this ***serious is kinda of a downer...it's a hardball world son this Russia craze will blow over.

If the police are watching a crack house, and happen to see me entering several times, they are not spying on me specifically.

So if the government was spying on the Russians, and Trump kept contacting them, it doesn't mean they were spying on Trump. Simple really.
