There's really nothing you're adding here other than saying "okay, well, he did a thing under his power, and the checking/balancing branch that oversees that said no, it goes to far, and countermanded it."
He
did a thing. You know. Trying to get things done. That thing you lauded Putin for. He did everything in
his power to ensure something got done in the way he saw fit, which is what he was supposed to do, it's why he was elected to the office.
Unlike the Senate, which does everything in its power to see that nothing gets done at all if it won't get done the way they want it to. Which on one level is within their rights and powers, but now they're openly obfuscating the judicial branch which is a bit of a betrayal of their charged duty, but that seems to be going over everyone's head these days...
