DS4 For PC Macros Not Working?

Hello ^^;
Decided to upgrade to a PS4 controller over my logitech,
I'm using DS4Windows to make the controller work with ffxi but I cant seem to make macros work on it (trying to bind Control+J on square button).
On logitech's simple mapping console I was able to accomplish that, was wondering if anyone else got the same issue or there's something I'm missing? :s
