The indirect heat thing was just in reference to chicken wings. Basically I smoke them for about 30 minutes with a nice fruity woodchip before grilling them on direct heat to crisp them up.
i got a master forge from my step brother when he upgraded. i love it. i'd of probably gone with a classic weber if i hadn't of got this, since that's what i was raised on.

Yeah. I really enjoyed the charcoal elevator and what have you, but all those added features are just more things to go wrong, too.
i have a metal fire pit right now. i'm gonna buy the stuff to do a nice brick one dug into the yard. put it by the patio/lawn furniture to extend the time i can spend out there by an extra month or so.
i installed a nest last weekend. as long as it doesn't rain i have a ton of lawn stuff to do. also half the spotlights on the corners outside have died so gotta swap those out. just gonna smoke ribs all tomorrow while doing that. i have a buddy who has preached grilling burgers while smoking ribs. if your grill is big enough to do it the fat dripping from the burger cause the flame and smoke to spit up and help the bark form and flavor.
I wouldn't mind a clay smoker but man that's not happening for a couple of years.
the plan is to flip the current residence in 4 years and then after the new house start doing all the crazy projects. eventually i'd like to have an extended patio with sitting area, built in bar/grill/firepit/smoker
Then again they could as easily be Hillary supporters.
I laughed seeing this i agree chanti the establishment has been very busy stealing elections this year during both of these treasonous parties caucuses and primaries. Then again mainstream media has been blacking out coverage of Nevada and Colorado and the lawsuits of election fraud in multiple states.
The moral of the story is never give up they can be voted out and to challenge government at every overstep they take on our Constitutional Rights. We are living in the Era of the fall of Political Parties in the United States of America and witnessing the Rise of Independent Individuals taking back the power structure of Washington DC.
Orlando, Florida (CNN)Approximately 20 people are dead inside Pulse, a gay nightclub, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said Sunday morning, just hours after a shooter opened fire in what authorities are saying is a domestic terror attack.
At least 42 people have been transported for medical treatment, he said. Police have shot and killed the gunman, Mina told reporters.
"It's appears he was organized and well-prepared," the chief said, adding that the shooter had an assault-type weapon, a handgun and "some type of (other) device on him."
Law enforcement sources told CNN that the suspect had possible explosive devices strapped to his body and in his vehicle, but a U.S. official said later that no explosives were found.
At least nine officers were involved in the shootout, Mina said. Several coroner vans were seen traveling toward the nightclub.
One officer suffered an eye injury when a bullet struck his Kevlar helmet, said Danny Banks, special agent in charge of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Orlando bureau. The helmet saved the officer's life, Banks said.
The shooter is not from the Orlando area, Mina said. He has been identified as Omar Saddiqui Mateen, 29, of Fort Pierce, about 120 miles southeast of Orlando, two law enforcement officials tell CNN.
Swedish news is saying ~50 dead, not sure how accurate it is (maybe CNN hasn't updated it yet)
