Re: the "conflicts" of the trans; these are people whose very sense of identity is vulnerable. They commit suicide at a significantly higher rate. Their mind and body disagree on who they are. If you want to restrict their pissing options, then that is your policy point, but don't trivialize it with "I'm sure they have their conflicts". You can be opposed to someone politically while retaining empathy for them, and since your argument is actually targeted at straight men who you expect to misbehave, beating them up on the way to making your argument is a fairly low move. You're better than that, or you should be.
I'm a pragmatist and the size of this population is simply too small to be making special rules or situations for. It's the same as making sure all doors can be opened with feet because double arm amputee's might been intimidated otherwise. Time and resources spent towards accommodating them could be spent on more important things, especially if those time / resources come as a form of government mandate.
On the bright side, the left is really starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel with wedge issues. Eventually they will have to actually discuss economic growth, education equality and national security in elections.

I'm just gonna repost this every page until people either move on to something else, or can provide a legitimate counterargument:
There are a considerable number of states, school districts, and businesses that allow transgender people to use the bathroom they identify with, which have observed no increase in abuse, harassment, attacks, etc.

Do you include all people that sincerely believe that they are things other than what they were at birth? By that I mean, do you include say someone that truly believes that they are a bird for example? They biologically aren't a bird. They clearly were not born a bird, but every fiber of their being tells them that they are a bird. Or are people like that just crazy?

I don't ask for it either, but I don't often get people running around saying they can't respect me for the things I say.
Umm.. I never said you did.. I also don't have the need to run around saying things like that. I could say it about a lot of people here but I have the for lack of a better word..class..

Not to mention, when they lionize themselves by assuming their inner Snidely Whiplash to tie a hypothetical lady to the tracks for self-assurance (like we've seen here many times) and they do an about face and ride in on their Dudley Do-Right "principles", it only makes it that more disingenuous.

The criteria that demarcates gender dysphoria from a mental disorder have been laid out in previous trans rights discussions that I know you were present for.

What does this whining have to do with anything? Things were incredibly quiet with regard to LGBT rights after SCOTUS's marriage equality ruling until the religious right in some states started passing retaliatory legislation encouraging LGBT discrimination. Trans people using their gender-appropriate bathroom doesn't affect anyone else because trans people have already been using these bathrooms without incident so where else does the focus lie?

I know your just trying to make an insult but realize that I don't block people for disagreeing with me, I block them for personal insults and emotional attacks.
Any further communication simply isn't worth my time. You can't argue against an emotion and "I'm right because I feel I'm right" isn't a rational argument.
