SMN Elemental Attacks.

I've been playing SMN for a while now and after getting my Fay Crozier I've been wondering, does the likes of Thunder Grips, Fire Grips and other such elemental+ gear effect the Strength and Accuracy of Avatar Nukes? I know having +SMN skill makes them stronger.

btw Fay Crozier stats were:

Avatar perpetuation -3
Pet Attack +7 Ranged Attack +7
MAB+3

Wiki lists the MAB for your pet, so thats what makes me wonder..any lemme know what you all think. :)

O.o I'm pretty sure that unless it says "Pet: MAB+3" it's NOT for your pet. And no, the grips don't affect your avatars from what I know.

This, and Show a SS of it, can easily see whether its Pet or not.

obis, grips, int, elemental torques do nothing for your avatars.

unless as said above it says Pet: blah blah

I'm pretty sure it would have two "Pet:" on it, not just the one for both stats.

i think cause mine has the Pet Attack and Ranged Attack they put it as

"Pet: Attack +7 Ranged Attack +7
MAB +3"

instead of:

"Pet: Attack +7 Ranged Attack +7
Pet: MAB +3"

Lol they won't write "Pet:" twice , the MAB IS for your pet , check any Royal Redingote with Pet:Attack+15 & Accuracy+15 or Cir/DA , they list Pet: once , then mention all the stats affecting your pet under that .

& No , elemental grips don't affect your pet macc , nor obis .. I believe INT & MND affects "spirits" in way or another but not sure.

Only stats that affects your avatars macc is summoning magic & "Pet: macc/MAB".

I got 2 Augments for my Pets. Pet only shows once.
I got something similar to my Fay Crozier also, forgive me for not having it Screenshotted but again, it only has PET once on it, it doesnt mean it's not Pet Enhancements... They wont write PET twice.

Beyond that, logic would dictate it is for your Avatar. These weapons were designed to benefit the given job, what use does a smn have for MAB when an Avatar has great use for it?

Then again, FFXI hasn't been logical in many other fields, it would be unlike them to begin now I suppose.
