I was using this early on for Knight and now I'm using it for Paladin again until I get the Paladin mastery gear unlocked.

I do wish you could use vanity overlays over other armor. At least this set has 3 pieces and I can upgrade all 3 individually.

So I've discovered Ranger. Neat lil' job so far. Real easy if you like to stay back and shoot safely from distance. Probably the best early game job of the group of new jobs you get near the start.

Actually you can hit the home button and go into miiverse where you can submit whatever is on the screen as a screenshot.

I'm in the process of updating the OP with almost 100 images I just spent a few hours taking/photoshopping for science!~

Here is an example:


My goal is to have it so you can CTRL+F and search for whatever crafting item you need and have it jump you straight to the monster with a picture as a spoiler.

I want this for my own purposes pretty bad lol. I hate having to look stuff up if the information even exists.

My party just hopped off and I don't want to get too far ahead of them so I have some free time at the moment.

The second post seems to use Goblin as the bestiary entry for quite a few mobs. That a mistake or a placeholder?

Does Monster load increase at some point as you progress? I would love to have another monster but chocobo is a fatty taking up all the space.

Not that I'm aware of yet. I'm using black knight which uses 300 load, and that thing is on some serious freaking cocaine. Having more than 1 would be absolutely absurd. They probably did that on purpose.

If you can it would probably be related to beastmaster mastery gear or something like that maybe?

Lighting is by far my favorite magicite to use lol. I love using her Gestalt. I really wish we had a vanity option just for looks. I hate that we have to use the actual equipment.



I love how cesil looks and want to use it with my paladin but the stats are meh ; ;

Thankfully yes you can. I switched to Paladin and I have to do some lower star quests or I get murdered pretty fast until I get new compatible gear.

General rule of thumb in gaming is that in a list or a collection mechanic, the last one is always a ***.

I've only had that issue on the magic pots. They escape before I can stun them and then I end up with not enough mobs to kill for the objective. Have to quit and restart it :(

Screw magic pots lol.

I think I've captured one but I haven't leveled it yet. When they are in a group of 3-4 sometimes they get a little overwhelming with crazy magic lol.

OKAY~

Every single standard mob is now listed on the 2nd post of the OP. I have every drop that I've personally wrote down listed and I took screenshots of every single monster except for Black and White chocobos. I have not found any yet.

There is some missing information here and there, I will update it over time or if anyone else wants to point some stuff out for me I will update it. I'm going to take a break and try to get Paladin mastery quests unlocked and work on those materials for a little bit.

I think once we get super advanced monsters/eidolons listed with their known drops this thread will become super handy with all the needed information in one simple place. I'll also list harvesting points and their contents per star tier as well. All in good time~

I still plan to pretty it up more with photoshop support images later as well.

If you notice any typos or mistakes feel free to let me know as well :O

Oh I almost forgot. I also just added the trance unlocks (how you obtain Cloud, Lighting ect). It's in-between job unlocks and monsters now.

You can do that, or, if you're trying to unlock some jobs (I just unlocked DRK) go out the front door with your pet monsters, kill everything in sight, farm materials, level up your pets.

Also the Black and White Chocobo quest is a 1 star quest called Black or White.
