It was the EU's demand followed by the veiled threat of expulsion that triggered the question regarding national sovereignty. Part of a nations sovereignty is it's ability to protect it's borders and determine who can and can not enter into those borders. That's one of the defining characteristics of weather something is a nation or not. When the EU signaled it was willing to usurp that right in an attempt to push it's own agenda, it caused a whole bunch of questions to be asked which resulted in the current vote. As long as the UK remained in the EU it wouldn't have sovereignty over it's own borders and thus not be a full nation in it's own right. In essence the UK just rejected EU governance.

 Italy should be orange too. And it's missing the northern countries. Sweden has a growing dissent and Finland is a mess too. The EU is going to fail, sooner rather then later. The British just called their bluff and put into question the authority of the Governing body of the European Union. The only way to keep that authority intact is to muster the United European Union Military and put down the British rebellion.

but seeing the whole lot of underhanded deals that happened. He did the right thing to not bother tbh. He agreed that we should leave, and there already was loud voices. Labours already in a bad position politically. If it had been the opposite way around, and he spoke up and we voted to remain, that would of been total political suicide it seems. Issues are arriving about the Le Touquet deal. (Which is about immigration they hold on french soil).
