Best way to get points is to stand infront of wyrm for breath attacks and take dmg. Heal yourself and the moogles.

Went back and soloed it, no title or items. Checking w/moogle now.
 So winning lets you access a lottery, where you get random items... I got a crystal rose. I guess you just keep doing the bcnm every 800 points from this event >< I wonder what you can even get. Saline/Magic Shield/sub RUN?
I ask because I'm curious and want to suck less. Yep, magic barrier saline coat and barrier tusk. I went /whm incase he dispelled me and my trust died but /run with fire resist works. I had amuchuchu, karaha-baruha, apururu, arciela and koru.
Also the firework is awesome lol, can spit out a megaflare!

An updated list of items i got so far: mythril coil, giant stinger, 100 byne bill, bloodwood log, merciful cape.
The BCNM is very easy to duo with dd+geo using vex/attunement, got it down to 4min wins.

A really nice method I found accidentally is spamming pollen as blue mage with a piece of gear in your aftercast set that has +20 hp. when you go to cast pollen, it'll switch your max hp to that number so you'll never hit Max hp with pollen, allowing you to continuously farm points by spamming pollen on yourself (can do this with any other class)

Does the event set you to level 5 or is it "level synced" to 5? Level sync to 5 but certain gear still works like -hp gear.

Trusts just can't survive flare spam for long. I used Arciela and Sel'theus for the AoE heal moves in addition to Apururu, still not enough healing for them. It is kinda sad that, even for an event battle, we feel the need of geo buffs.
