Would be interesting to see if you could do double Darkness and follow with Umbra, but it doesn't look like they go that far into it.
Intuitively speaking, there's no reason not to be able to do double darkness into umbra given that double darkness exists as an extension of multi-step/level skillchains already.

For the majority of these Aeonics, you have to use a shitty WS to close the lvl4 SCs. And it's tiered so you are going to have to build of 3k TP first. Unless they give an insane boost to magic bursts, they don't really look worthwhile.
With the increase to the base damage+skill+stat+possible am boost for mythics, the other options look pretty lackluster still. Relics might be nice due to their general easy-to-getness. Maybe if Aeonics are easy to get, they could be worthwhile. But it's looking like Mythics will still be the go-to option for any job that melee as far as legendaries are concerned.

Upheaval, Shoha, Last Stand, Swang Song, and Stardiver -- at least -- are quality weaponskills. Ruinator too, though due to an underlying condition known as "I don't care about beastmasters," I can't find room to give a ***about that. Not sure about Shijin Spiral anymore, though I expect it's not as good as Stringing Pummel/Victory Smite which I suspect is your gripe? Not sure, haven't touched monk in a while and I don't do puppetmaster. Thief and dancer get a little boned having to use Exenterator instead of one of their stronger single-hits (especially dancer and PK), but played right big skillchains are already super powerful and I can see making a level four off off of a double level three being very worthwhile indeed.

DW jobs may want to put in overtime when these buffs drop unless we get some skill+269 weapons explicitly designed for offhand use. There's a fair chance that Tizona/Almace will be BIS for BLU for example, though other MEA combinations aren't out of the question.
Too bad I sold off ~600 HMP and some cinders when I came back.

On another note why are all the legendaries weapons, seems to me at least one job should have a legendary sock. It would have been cool if they branched out into other areas, like a shuriken pouch, some spells, and a GEO bell.

Yeah, looking at the base damage increase to Tizona, there's basically a 109% chance that it's unbeatable for BLU. It is pretty awesome that all of the legendaries are getting back to actually earning that name. It's been a long time since anything but the shield/instrument from relic/empyrean were the best you could get.
Also, I really wish they had released other types of legendaries, too. Would have been great to see a legendary grip for RUN, maybe an ammo that buffed the absolute crap out of a DRG's wyvern.

Terpsichore/Twashtar may be pretty solid for dancer once updated. +40 dex and low delay offhand. I was hoping that would be the case for Twashtar once it was updated. Terpderp is going to be insane...

Upheaval, Shoha, Last Stand, Swang Song, and Stardiver -- at least -- are quality weaponskills.
Not just that, but those jobs lean on WSes with damage TP modifiers, so the +500 TP Bonus is meaningful.
Eyeballing it, the Great Katana and Polearm could end up being better than Koga and Ryuno, but it's anyone's guess right now.

About that Aeonic bow, thats kinda a funny name for someone playing FFRK: RNG uses Fail-Not, but we always know that RNG ALWAYS fails on us!

But you can't Dual Wield it. Because at some point you will lose one and have to go miss-matched with a gimped sock in the off-hand that has a hole in it.

[dev1296] Aeonic Weapons
A new class of armaments, aeonic weapons, will be added via a new quest.
Aeonic weapons are of the same caliber as relic, mythic, and empyrean weapons, and possess an aftermath effect that enables the activation of new skillchains that surpass light and darkness.
* Completion of the aeonic weapons requires completion of a quest to be added in a subsequent update.
And here it is folks, while not necissarily from Seakers expansion, another new set of Relic/Mythic level of weapons
