so looking at the new weapons, everyone has been talking about how the tp bonus is either helpful or not helpful for that particular WS, but i realized, its mentioned before the AM for the weapons and before mentioning the WS name. could this be a 500 tp boost to any WS used with that weapon? the more i look at it, the more i think that. That's how I read it. TP Bonus +500 for any WS. Whatever the WS listed on it was just for getting AM up.
I think if it was only for that WS it would of been worded as:
"WS Name: TP Bonus +500"
if thats the case, these weapons are all pretty great, highest damage if not near highest with a fat tp boost. Mage weapons though...

Yeah, and magic dmg on all of the weapons. Looking at the other Aeonic weapons you can put a rough estimated where the other Relic and Mythic weapons will be boosted up to.

Let the empy owners cry. They wont have hmp. May even be more cruel if shield gets updated, again no pld will go from 90 to 99. Laugh.
Empy staff rdy for boost, and I think I am encouraged enough to spend my hmp to upgrade almace for my blue. May wait to see empy scythe though stats.

Pretty huge boost. This is really nice, as it follows the original theme of these weapons, with high base damage + low delay.
Just a quick number comparison
relic dmg is 34.7% boost
mythic dmg is 33.5% boost
empyrean dmg is 37.7% boost
I think it's interesting they boosted Empy as much as they did. Some of them might be a bit more interesting than they were before...
If this holds up for katana's, they might look something like this.
Kikoku DMG:148 Attack+60
Nagi DMG:151 Macc +38 Enmity+23
Kannagi DMG:145 AGI+40
I have a bad feeling the upgrade path from 119 is going to be a lot worse than 300 pluton/beit/boulder was at first. (recall plutons for 300k)

I'm hoping they just update it without making some tedious gather materials side quest. Tedious enough taking it to 119 >.<

This means Mjollnir will have +60 attack instead of 40.
and the acc weapons will have 60 acc instead of 40 acc.
plus the skill bonus. that's actually quite nice in the long run.

Taking a look, it looks like the RMEs are also getting Magic Damage +186 and Magic Accuracy Skill +242, meaning that's probably the max on the finished Aeonic ones too.
Edit: Whoops, just noticed that the 4th sword was indeed the Aeonic, so yeah. "probably" is right.
Double Edit: I'm dumb. The sword has that much already. The rest of the RMEs will probably be matching their weapon class in Magic Damage/Accuracy.

Not that anybody is going to really care, but it's even sadder they won't relent on putting post-RoZ jobs on relics after this. It'd be nice to have a path to that kind of damage without going through a Mythic.

But cor on anni, blu on exca, pup on spharai, dnc on mandau, sch on claustrum, run on cala and geo on dagan. It's silly to worry about balance with the other crazier weapons around.

Wow, looks like there will be a pretty huge gap between some mythic and other ilv 119 options?
Tbh I don't really like how they do it......I'd like to see some relic/empy dmg increase so they're not completely useless but that means mythic will be further ahead.
Guess in 2 years whoever still plays FFXI would require DDs to have a mythic to join party because there are no excuse not to have it.

Someone may have pointed this out already, but, at around 38 minutes in, they show how the WSes chain. He does 3000 TP Shoha (to get AM3) > Shoha, and produces the new Radiance chain.
Then the DRK comes in and they do Entropy > Fudo (Darkness) > Entropy (Umbra)
Would be interesting to see if you could do double Darkness and follow with Umbra, but it doesn't look like they go that far into it.

My main is Run, and although I am still a long way off Epeo, I'm imagining the stat boost will be to Enmity, like Burtgang. Going by this I'd also imagine the Idris buffs will be to the MAB/MAcc and not to Geomancy+. It's already OP as is.

REMA is fine. It's intuitive. No ffxi player is going to ask what REMA means if they know about aeonic weapons, but I'm sure you'll get drowned in questions asking what MAERE means.

A new class of armaments, aeonic weapons, will be added via a new quest.
Aeonic weapons are of the same caliber as relic, mythic, and empyrean weapons, and possess an aftermath effect that enables the activation of new skillchains that surpass light and darkness.
* Completion of the aeonic weapons requires completion of a quest to be added in a subsequent update.
And here it is folks, while not necissarily from Seakers expansion, another new set of Relic/Mythic level of weapons
