Deez Nuts Is Running For President.

That's right... Deez Nuts.

An independent named Deez Nuts, filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission Sunday. He joined more than 500 other people who have done the same. Wednesday was a big day for Deez Nuts, rising in polls; at 9 percent in N.C.. In a Public Policy Polling, voters in North Carolina were asked: “If the candidates for President next year were Democrat Hillary Clinton, Republican Donald Trump, and independent Deez Nuts, who would you vote for?” respondents in North Carolina voted Trump 40%, Clinton 38%, and Nuts 9%.

Deez Nuts have won 9% of the vote as an independent - which, on top of recent results of 8% in Minnesota and 7% in Iowa from previous polls, makes him what experts confirmed is the most successful independent candidate for president in two decades, and is now putting up the best third-party numbers since Ross Perot.

I hope we can put Deez Nuts up on the wall with the other presidents in 2016. Deez Nuts might be just what our country needs.

The real point I am making by putting together this thread is this:

The success of Deez Nuts shows why you shouldn’t trust US election polls, or maybe we should?
The fact the an unknown person has the chance to be president is both hope inspiring and also an alarming concern. Obama was pretty much unknown until right before campaign. The difference with Obama and Deez Nuts was Obama had huge amounts of financial aid which made certain we would all see and hear his publicity stunts. On the other hand it is comforting to know the little guy (in this case it's Deez Nuts...) can still be heard and make a possible difference in the world. Deez Nuts is proof that you don't have to have a ton of money or any money to become recognised as a presidential candidate. Never tell yourself or anyone else that one person cannot make a difference.

You seem to be missing the point that if this kid, without money, can achieve this much notoriety in a presidential election, then so can anyone else. He even beat Ross Perot who had a lot of funding. This to me brings hope that WE THE PEOPLE still have a voice and can be heard.

Donald Trump has enough money to go fund himself. He is not a person that brings hope to the average American that is flat broke and feeling insignificant like they can never make an impact on something as huge as the United States. Deez Nuts may be small, but Deez Nuts is making a huge impact right now.

That is exactly what the rich and powerful would want us all to believe.

...in all seriousness, the only thing he's got going for him is the name. Nonetheless, he's 15. He's underage by 20 years. It's not going to work due to the requirements for presidency.

Being successful is not a crime. Being a no name "Loser" doesn't make you the perfect fix. They're rich ppl who would make a good president and alot more so than someone who knows very little about achieving success and goals imo.

Maybe being human is what we need to look for and not being rich.
Maybe a human being for president is what this country needs and not a rich person who likely knows very little of ethics and morality.
Trumps (and other rich/powerful peoples) own statements have already shown us how little they know of humanity and that they only seems to view the people who are not wealthy as inferior, and to be used as tools, or an obstacle to be removed.
