So then after I've confirmed it's loaded, all I would need to do is Call Beast for example, and it will change to Merlin's? Or if I have macros in-game set up, will that overwrite those?

The Lua you have provided doesn't go anywhere... It takes me to a pastebin and says it's no longer there. I'd like to use this Lua for my BST.
