Mog Garden - Ranking Up?

Had a question about how the rank up system works.

Most of the wiki say something like "number of real life days something was harvested" is what determines your rank.

The problem is that's not true (either partially or wholly). My 2x fishing items are rank 4, but grove/furrow/mining are both 3. Daily i walk in, harvest everything 1x, then log out. For fishing that clears the node, for the other 3, not so much. So either stuff like furrows requires many more 'daily' harvests than the 2x fishing, or ranking up isnt just how many days you harvested.

Have you bought all of the key items?

I believe it's based on how many times you perform the action rather than doing it daily, thst's why for levelling up furrows, everyone always suggests planting revival tree roots as they only take an hour to fully grow.

Thing is it specifically says in multiple places on the wiki:


Upgrades become available depending on the total number of real-life days in which a crop was harvested.
Upgrade availability does not depend on the total number of harvests.

I believe Tidis is right because why else would both fishing be way ahead of furrow/mine/tree. That or its something like (for mining/trees) for fishing, you get 1 point per day, but for mining you get 1/x, where x = the number of possible harvests. So at rank 3, 1/6 points per harvest, must harvest 6 times a day to get the 1 point.

And yes I have all the key items so far...thats how i know i am rank 4 in 2x and rank 3 in the others.......

Not sure I believe that - I do everything religiously each day and I'm rank 7 in mine/tree/fishx2 but only rank 5 in furrow.
