Hmm, hard to say where I'll finally log. I expect to be around for a year to finish off some quests and the new scenario.
I'll probably even try the mobile version, just to see how it turns out. With my schedule, short bursts on mobile could actually work well for me, if it is decent (admittedly a pretty big "if").
But, when I do eventually log for the last time, I think I've settled on the Abyssean Empyreal Paradox, watching the world from above for eternity with Prishe.
Abyssea was my favorite storyline, despite it being only a battle add on. (Yes, I played this game primarily for the story and lore.) The other stories has issues or plot holes which picked away at my enjoyment.
So, it seems appropriate that (even tho Prishe is a less-than-favorite character) my character watches over a broken Vana'diel from afar, forever.
(Damn, didn't know how much this was affecting me until I typed that. Feel like a goofus crying over lunch break over a video game, but there it is. Part of the grief process, I guess.)
