Capacity Points Solo/Duo
By KaariLaLa 2015-03-13 11:27:37
Alrighty! So I'm finally to the stage where i really want to grind out some capacity points before the double campaign ends.
My issue is i don't have the Acc or the gear enough for the Capacity point Parties without being booted from them.
So my question is, where are some good spots for a BLU to solo for Capacity points, And wheres a good spot for a Dual BLU to Capacity farm?
My plans are for Jochaim+Ulmia+Kupipi, with Jochaim giving me Acc and with food i think i hit 970ish Acc on my BLU, my Duo BLU, My Brother, should be able to hit higher then that even
If anyone could help me out, list a few locations for this to be a decent place to do this, we're not highly geared, I only have like two or three i119's Same with my Brother. so the lvl 126+ mobs just won't work for us.
Thank you in advance for info ^-^

Mandies on the coastline of Ceizak. It's not good but if your gear is really as bad as you're making it out to be, it's somewhere you should be able to solo w/o issue.
To be honest, I'd spend more time upgrading your gear - do Yorcia Alluvion runs and you'll get plenty of 119 gear in little time. I understand the desire to do CP farming since the double CP event is currently going on, but it comes back every few weeks so you're not missing out on much if you focused on gear instead of CP at the moment.

it's not that terrible like i said i have 970ish Acc with food and stuff, i can hit mobs around lvl 120ish without any issue, i just have no idea where to find mobs around this lvl let alone a good camp of them.
And Alluvion Yorcia is out of the question, because noone will take me in, leetists etc. are all i seem to run into, so that's out for a little bit so while im gearing up i want to spend an hour or so a day getting some Cap points to work towards my 100 gift.
I'm trying to increase my Subduction Damage but i cant seem to do mroe then 300ish damage with it with my current MaB set, so im doing what i can to increase that too so i can be more use in something like Alluvion Yorcia

Don't get defensive when people are trying to help.
Look, you can get 150 capacity points per kill with your current set up. If you spend a little time upgrading some of your gear, you can get 600 capacity points per kill on higher level mobs. I'm not sure the exact numbers on cap points per kill, but you get the idea.
It will take you a really long time to grind up to 100 job points. That's 3,000,000 capacity points (100 job points x 30,000 cap points). Assuming you're looking at 150 cap points per Mandy, you'll have to kill 20,000 Mandies.
So, people are helping you get to your goal of 100 job points as fast as possible.
Also, you can use all spark/bayld gear for BLU and do better than 300 dmg per subduction. I was able to two or three shot elementals in Yorcia Alluvian (non-wind resistant) using that type of gear plus one piece of Hagondes (body). Not sure how you are only hitting 300 per. Dual wield clubs with MAB and Magic DMG+ and stack on the MAB in armor/accessories.

Honestly you if your solo/you+ trusts you dont want to do anything 120 or higher.
Your better off going to cirda and just clearing 1-2 rooms in there. Just make sure 1of the 2 room also includes one of the 3 mobs for the RoE pages. Since your a blue id go for the umbral/amorph pages and you can double up an do both pages at once and just go back and forth between 2-3 rooms.
I would much rather chain 7-12 cp at 400-600 a pop solo, then get to chain 1-3 on mobs so tough i have to recast trusts every 3 mobs just to get 1k cp a kill.
If cirdas is crowded, any place in the adoulin underground works well. (rala, sih, moh, woh, doh gates etc) You can even add 1-2 players + the trusts and not suffer too much of an exp penalty in any of those areas.

For the record i get ~350-500 a kill in cirda at 2-3x the speed of the harder mobs in higher gates zones.

This. Get some Taeon gears, then just shout for CP party. Should be able to pull in 3-5 points/hour easy with you and some randoms in a basement area. Whm + brd trusts if you don't have real people obviously.

Telling someone who wants to grind cp to 'make your on yorcia partys, get taeons gear, augment it, then form your own cp parties...'
just epic /facepalm
If he/she wants to grind in her current gear with her bro...let them. Yes taeons will help, and yes forming your own party and beeing the book leech works, but not everyone likes being the leech.
I can solo 3-4 jp an hour while half afk in cirda. Its not that hard people and the gear requirement is very low. Just have to kill faster to make up for lack of big numbers.

Well he's obviously doing /something/ with all those leaf/duskslit stones.

Yorcia book run down:
Open book
Summon 0-5 worms (some people like going straight to crabs)
Summon ~5 crabs
Summon ~1 shinji
summon ~5-6 colibri
upgrade book (amend ars arcana or w.e)
summon w/e (usually 1-2 coerel, or 4-5 more colibri since they are fast and will catch up)
upgrade book (optional)
summon dragons (optional)
Depending on layout/how long its gone, usually the enemy strong hold is at 1% now and needs 1 person to hit it once and finish the level. Shinjin + 5 crabs 5 colibri and 1-2 scorpio/corelle at level 2/3 is usually enough to clear any level. If you have summoned 4-5 dragons, you might want to go make sure the strong hold isnt already dead ;-p
I will note that you need to watch the first wave or two, if you are sending crabs and they are sending birds, then your crabs will be slaughtered, so send a few colibri out if they send birds.
If they send slimes/amorphs out, use worms
If they send crabs use birds.

Going to counter with....what?
Are you trying to say you can augment each piece of taeon with + acc? Cause everyone is well aware of that.

As an alternative, I found that 4 worms > upgrade > 2 Crab > Shijin > 2 colibri > upgrade > spam dragons worked well on 3/3/3 runs and lower. Haven't tried on higher pops yet but had no trouble clearing with that.
