I just won 4/4 SKCNM20s on Normal. (2 Chapter 4 and 2 Chapter 5 SKCNM).

One was Dismemberment Brigade and the other was in Chamber of Oracles with Anticans.

My observation: I was only able to summon 3 Trusts as Party Leader. My WHM alt could not summon any trusts. I was very disappointed that my main and my alt could not summon 2 Trusts each, for a total of 6 characters in the party.

It seems that I'm stuck doing this with 5 total characters (main+3 trusts + alt character) instead of 6 characters like I had hoped for.

My question: Is this intentional? Has SE acknowledged this?

Thank you.

Yes it's intentional, only the party leader can summon trust npcs.

no its not its a bug, they have ment for you to be able to fill up your part with trusts, i think the big is however that they disspear when you change ldrs i think THAT wasnt suppose to happen.

they clearly stated "you cant call a duplicate" menaing other member can call them too

Yeah, I swear somewhere in the notes they mention the leader-only thing being a temporary solution to a known bug. It shouldn't be long until anyone can call a Trust, and you won't need to wait 2 mins before summoning them either.

Alliances may not be formed when in a party comprised of bother players and alter egos, parties may not contain multiple alter egos of the same NPC, and only the party leader is able to summon forth alter egos.

The last restriction is in place for the June 2014 version update in order to prevent a particular bug from occurring.

It's intentional, but is to prevent another bug from occurring.

Still think increasing number of trusts out at a time to 5 per person would be a better fix, I mean if you're not gonna be able to duplicate trust summons anyways...

that is true tho they want to promote ppl partying again, i think they could have both operational tho.

i wish they would alter Fellows tho since it doesnt take up a Real party spot it shouldnt TAKe a party spot, ya know? it should be treated as an automation/wyvern style slot

Thing is trusts are great and all, but without being able to tell them what to do (only auto attack/perform AI functions based off of being actively engaged to mob) they will never fully replace a 2nd/3rd/etc player based off of their actual intelligence, let alone capabilities. I mean how many whm's to we have as trusts and they all act to a fraction of a true whm's capabilities separately, and even worse melee jobs function as dumbed down war's with different weapons...cept for this new SAM from what I've read.

ive noticed some of them are betetr at different lvls ive recently lvling my mule from 1- on up and excemlle is amazing to start with but as lvls pile on he loses alot of power. people liek gessho arent good at all for the beginning, no theyll never take palce of real person but alot them are pretty kick *** and you kill thing you coudlnt kill by yourself.

im glad they have them

as far whm go id say ,mihli is the best good dmg pro/shell and heals, ya doesnt haste (i think) but oh well. i woudlnt mind a nuker WHM with added nukes we dont get Banish IV banishaga III etc that woudl be fun to play around with

currently we dont have drg, blu, rdm, geo, run, smn, does cor guy use phantom roll?? ive never seen him and i missed to get him.

Ingrid so far is the closest to a white magic nuker, but I wouldn't rely on it. She doesn't give a care for any form of buffing I recall seeing, other than Haste.
Luzaf does not do cor rolls.
We sort of have a RDM in Ovjang, but not in the way you probably want. As for if you're listing pet jobs, that is probably not going to happen, since an npc with a pet would be a little strange, I think. BLU would be neat, though.

At best, Trusts will only be reliably useful in battlefields as DD's. I imagine that a party consisting of a PLD (player), healer (player) and DD (player) + 3 DD trusts would work well, as long as the party leader is the DD player. That way, the trusts will focus on whatever the party leader is attacking, leaving the PLD and healer to do their thing.
