Could be wrong but I always assumed all relic weaponskills were kept slightly sub-par and used for their additional effects not for spamming.

All *** aside... spinning attack can already do 4k damage in salvage when fighting clusters of gears (*can doesn't mean consistent) any buff is a good buff. And if they make spinning attack even better, hurray.

Heh. Spinning Attack comes in at 43, but of course that's per mob, so even hitting 3 mobs puts it in the lead. On weak fodder mobs, you can probably manage ~2500 damage per mob.

Fel cleave is a thing of the past. Spinning attack is the thing of the future.

I'm genuinely curious how much stronger WS like Spinning Attack and Circle Blade are. 35% to 100% seems like a lot. Could be nice way to Cleave EXP mobs and such.

Edit: Thanks for the info, Motenten.

ok back to Srs questions.

The elemental WS are listed as going to be effected by the main hand and player level. This includes Archery/Marks WS. If any of the elemental WS reworks are good does this mean we will have to find some ilvl weapon instead of staffs?

I may be wrong, but what weapon you're weaponskilling with should be the weapon it bases the ilevel of your weaponskill off of.

Sheesh, that's a lot of "weapons"

hope so, cause I dont want to have to wear Sabebus on Rng. Cor its good times but not on RNG >< especially now that all the marksmanship WS are AGI. Hurlbat needs to be full timed.

In terms of ripping through fodder, BLU, BLM, and SCH all do it better than MNK or WAR, anyway. But, Fell Cleave is still better than spinning attack because of retaliation.

Got 2 Hurlbat drops in one orb earlier and both sold within 5 mins. I'm pretty sure people are catching on quickly.

Oh my ... Insurgency needed a much bigger boost. I guess that tells me I won't be building that Liberator after all. Might just do an Apoc instead. :(

On the Tier 4 ram in Drifts, my set, using chatoyant staff I get 3500+, with few resists

Can you list your WF set for that?
I tried a makeshift WF set for Diff AA EV and only got like 500.

You'll hardly ever get much on that. Other than the natural meva boost those bosses have she is also pld/rdm so with a solid mdb(and hopefully you dispelled shell at least).
In Kamihr though it's pretty normal to get good WF numbers(including on boss). Doesn't work bad in other zones either, except for bird, *** that thing and his aura.

More rough estimates on scaling, this time with thf dagger weaponskills.

Unstacked weaponskills:

111 = New Evisceration
102 = New Dancing Edge & New 5/5 Exenterator (100% att bonus on first hit)
>100 = Current 5/5 Exenterator (no attack bonus used)
93 = Current Dancing Edge
89 = Current Evisceration

Thf, stacked weaponskills (SA)

131 = New Mercy Stroke w/Mandau
116 = Current Mercy Stroke w/Mandau
116 = New Rudra's Storm
115 = New Mandalic Stab w/Vajra (no AM3)
100 = New Evisceration
>100 = Current Rudra's Storm
96 = New Shark Bite
95 = New Dancing Edge
95 = Current 5/5 Exenterator
89 = Current Dancing Edge
89 = New Mandalic Stab
83 = Current Evisceration
77 = Current Shark Bite
62 = Current Mandalic Stab

I'm fine with 80% DEX mod to Geirskogul and 60%str/60%vit to camlann's. Actually makes camlann a really solid 1hit ws for non REM drgs against high def targets. Too bad Drakesbane was untouched. Since every mythic ws was adjusted except Drakesbane, I suspect it's attack penalty was removed.

yea it makes me really mad about drakes. if i remember right, drakes has the lowest crit rate of any crit WS. to leave it there and not boost the mod above 50 is lame. they better get rid of the attack penalty.
