He mentioned people fleeing countries that are utter shitholes because of drug cartels and rampant government corruption. The joke is on the ones fleeing here though, because while they may see an improvement, we've got the same thing. It's just that our drug cartels are publically traded companies with names like Pfizer and Bayer, and our corruption has been constitutionally defended by the SCOTUS. MODERN SLAVERY

Also, oddly, maybe Pittsburgh hipsters are just more blue collar than others, but I see plenty of hipsters working shitty jobs. Menial or otherwise.
