It's why I make it a point to not buy stuff from places with annoying commercials.
Holy *** this.
I will never, ever shop with the Shultz automotive group. (If you're in the southwestern Pennsylvania region, they're the "yee-haw" jackoffs.)

Lordgrim your first step should be to hire a typist. I would figure the first step would be to go back to learn basic English sentence structure.
But that's like... Grade 1 level English.

Taken from the fluoride thread:
Lord grim is opposed to the system, that's it. It needs to be abolished. It can never work.
It doesn't matter what you do to the current one, it's doomed to fail from the outset.
If you can't understand that, which I think you actually do. Then you might as well be a brick wall, as far as discussion goes.
Why is it harmful? What factors are in place that creates the harm? What is your solution/replacement?
Making absolute statements without backing it up just shows how closed minded and ignorant you are.
And I ask everyone but Lordgrim and charlo to please refrain from answering either of these questions, these are directed towards them and will show their understanding and knowledge. This is an (yet another) attempt for them to vindicate themselves and prove that they have at least 2 working brain cells in their head.

Oh Texas, you so cray-cray
This story is in Texas, but don't think it's limited to the lone star state.
By Bloodrose 2015-01-30 09:04:35
It's not. The article even cited Oklahoma state representative, John Bennett.

By Bloodrose 2015-01-30 09:29:13
Yes, it actually was ratified, as it came into official federal law, on December 23rd, 1913.
Quote: The Federal Reserve Act (ch. 6, 38 Stat. 251, enacted December 23, 1913, 12 U.S.C. ch. 3) is an Act of Congress that created and established the Federal Reserve System, the central banking system of the United States of America, and granted it the legal authority to issue Federal Reserve Notes (now commonly known as the U.S. Dollar) and Federal Reserve Bank Notes as legal tender. The Act was signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson.
Btw, THIS is the 16th Amendment to the U.S.C., which came into effect February 3rd, 1913:
Quote: The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

BTW Lordgrim, I'm still waiting on those answers.
Heck, I'm still waiting on you telling us what an appropriations bill is. I'm also waiting on you telling us what interest is, and how it is created.

It's also listed (and can be viewed on the original document) as ratified Amendment. The Proposal for the Amendment came in during the year of 1909. Any Amendment to the constitution *must* be ratified before it can go into effect. That is constitutional law, and it must be found to be constitutional by law.
It also required a minimum of 36 states in agreement to ratify it as an active amendment, however, 42 states are currently known to have signed it:
Quote: Three advocates for a federal income tax ran in the presidential election of 1912.[30] On February 25, 1913, Secretary of State Philander Knox proclaimed that the amendment had been ratified by three-fourths of the states and so had become part of the Constitution.[31] The Revenue Act of 1913 was enacted shortly thereafter.
According to the United States Government Printing Office, the following states ratified the amendment:[32]
1.Alabama (August 10, 1909)
2.Kentucky (February 8, 1910)
3.South Carolina (February 19, 1910)
4.Illinois (March 1, 1910)
5.Mississippi (March 7, 1910)

9.Texas (August 16, 1910)
10.Ohio (January 19, 1911)
11.Idaho (January 20, 1911)
12.Oregon (January 23, 1911)
13.Washington (January 26, 1911)

27.Maine (March 31, 1911)
