Re-installing FFXI Expansions

My motherboard fried a few days ago and I'm here on my new PC trying to recover. I had a FFXI collection disc with the original, RotZ, CoP, ToAU, and WotG, which I just installed. Now I need to find a way to get the rest of the expansions, which I purchased from SE digitally.

I guess I'm just looking to see what other people have done in this situation. I'm sure I have the registration codes or w/e in my email somewhere so I just need to know where to get these expansions again safely.

I actually turned the HD from my fried PC into an external. If I were to drag and drop all of the files in the FFXI folder of my old HD into the FFXI folder that I started from the CD, allowing duplicate files to overwrite, might that work?

Not sure about copying and pasting the files. Might be OK, but I'd rather just install everything fresh just in case. Sounds like you just need an image of SoA to use, which you can find hosted around here.

I don't think you need your registration codes anymore. Everything is tied to your SE account.

Purchasing the code from SE was kind of a bum deal. Digital River is lame since you can't re-download your files there without having purchased some "extended access" plan.

Oh, uh, good question. Don't think so. How did you install them (abyssea expanions) originally?

Or wait. Wasn't abyssea expansion just something you get through updating? I think you should be good so long as you installed WotG.

I remember purchasing each abyssea expansion and DLing them. So I guess I'll have to look that up. I just updated the PoL viewer and I think i'm going to try dragging and overwriting all the ROM and sound files. Worse comes to worse I'll just have to uninstall and start over lol.

Abyssea should come as part of the normal update. There wasnt a separate install.

Abyssea, and the 3 Mini Addons are installed Via Update Version, there is no installer. i WISH they came on a disc. would save much time later.
