I don't see anything wrong with her topics. they are usually worded as to offend the grand old party though, I'll give you that KN. but wtf, what else are we going to do all day?
Isn't that what Ni is supposed to do? I know Ni is only allowed for 3 people, but you are one of those 3.
Clip is generally what feeds rounds/cartridges into a magazine. There are some rifles that might look like a clip acts as a magazine such as some older M14, or the Russian SKS where you might use a clip to load in the rounds/cartridges into the rifle, however you are still loading them in a "magazine". So please don't confuse both terms, they are entirely two different things and function differently.
A clip loads rounds/cartridges into the magazine, the magazine loads rounds/cartridges into the chamber.
It's rounds or cartridges, some might argue ammunition. Not bullets, bullets are what come out of the barrel. There is a difference. Its the projectile part of a round/cartridge.

An impressive rebuttal chap but Republicans say dumb ***daily, sometimes on the hour if pressed hard enough. It's the combination of angst, social conservatism, fanaticism and general ignorance brought to a boil that does it I think.
They can't help but go full retard but what do I expect from the people who brought us tax policy from SimCity.

If he had four, five, six 15-round magazines, there’s no telling how much damage he could have done until a good guy with a gun showed up
When I read comments like this, I don't think of them as "dumb" so much as they are adults who stopped developing mentally after the age of 9 years old. They see everything in black and white, and will take everything said to them seriously (they have no sense of humor), and are perpetually looking for things to be upset about so they can feel sorry for themselves/have something to occupy their minds.
Everything they say and do is motivated by fear. "Someone is out to get us, so we must carry a gun. Stop gays from getting married, or they'll make us all gay. Occupy and war with other countries, lest they march across the ocean and attack my home. Do what the church says, or God will be mad at me. Minorities scare me, so do everything we can to suppress them."
They won't usually come out and say these things. Instead, they'll dance around the issue and come up with all kinds of incredibly weak excuses in attempt to rationalize their fear.
In this case, they must throw themselves on the floor and kick their legs and put up this fight, lest they have their precious firepower taken from them-- when in reality there is no danger of that happening to begin with.
These people, Republicans, conservatives, Tea-Parties, whatever you call them-- they are filled with bravado and put on a tough guy act, but they are no more than sniveling cowardly children in adult bodies, and the fact we have any of them in offices of power reflects what a sad state this country is in.

And liberals/Dems never say anything equally stupid?
Like "We need to pass it in order to read it" or "You can keep your doctor"
The problem is, those comments leads to policies, while some of the stupid things Republicans say don't even get attempted to make policy.

I'm a progressive who's against all forms of gun control in the United States (short of controlling the weapons that police have) I have a great sense of humor, not everything I think is motivated by fear, I am pro gay marriage, anti-unneeded wars, not a fan of any religion, enjoy minorities. There is a very real reality of people trying to take weapons from the masses, it's already happening, and your entire post here proves nothing but your own simple mindedness.

As a matter of fact no.
Equally wrong I will grant no problem. But nothing NEAR that stupid.

The Democrats are dumb and the Republicans are stupid. The difference between dumb and stupid is dumb isn't funny, stupid is seriously funny.
"WAAAAAA!! I can't achieve anything in life because of some poor kid in Simolia is a slave! WAAAAAAA!!! Pay me to live because of that poor kid!!!
You can still get out of that situation if you are a slave. It's called "running away." They only stay slaves because they don't give any effort in changing their lifestyle.

Talk and learn each other and ourselves to save us hundreds of hours of toil and energy in our lifetime?
Share ideas?
Discover new truths?
Resist weak pack mentality behaviour reducing our intellect?
Just because we can *** with people doesn't mean we should, nerd!
The correct answer is "post pictures of cats"... Thanks for playing.

Talk about selective hearing. That bill changed dramatically many times before it was passed, she's saying that they can't make concrete statements about what the bill is until it's actually passed. That has no relation to the quote you said or it's meaning.

oh wait, Bush's fault, that is really Bush saying that...yeah...
Sigh... you didn't even paraphrase it correctly. Exact wording:
Quote:
“You’ve heard about the controversies within the bill, the process about the bill, one or the other. But I don’t know if you have heard that it is legislation for the future, not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America, where preventive care is not something that you have to pay a deductible for or out of pocket. Prevention, prevention, prevention — it’s about diet, not diabetes. It’s going to be very, very exciting.
“But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.
Bolded the relevant parts. Maybe you can think for yourself for a change. I can't believe this still gets tossed around like it does.
Lloyd Oliver, a Democratic candidate for district attorney in Harris County, Texas, has a problem with domestic violence: He thinks it's prosecuted too much.
Oliver told the Texas Observer Wednesday that domestic violence is "so, so overrated." If elected, he indicated he'd redirect resources away from family violence to focus on other issues.
......
In a 2012 appearance on "Reasonable Doubts," a weekly call-in show sponsored by the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, Oliver said domestic violence victims should "maybe learn how to box a little better."
Which STILL isn't as stupid as:
Quote:
As it turns out, that was maybe a good thing that he had a 100-round magazine

Eh, those are pretty damn close to being as stupid as each other.
*edit* bolded for emphasis
As someone who has called in several domestic violence calls and listened in as the police accepted the "No, officer, everything is fine," despite someone bleeding in the next room (not exaggerating), I have to say that domestic violence isn't being prosecuted enough. And I say that as someone who loathes the overzealous nature of criminal prosecution we have.
But I suppose it is "nice" to see a Democrat saying something offensively stupid?

You can't really do anything (nor should be able to) on a legal level if the victim isn't willing to prosecute. It's hard to see, hard to stomach, but yet better than the alternative.
