Is the new disney movie crossing the line?

Last week I caught a trailer for this movie coming out in March. (Thanks to Ina)

You must be blameless before the LORD your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. How would you like it if someone from a hundred different religions kept trying to convert you and tell you christianity was wrong constantly? To tell you how horrible you're going to suffer for being so foolish?
Respect other peoples beliefs, and don't belittle them. And we won't belittle yours. That is what Jesus would do. Person.A said: Are there not already people world-wide who say these things about Christianity? God's word does not belittle, His words show you the truth, the way, and the life that is Jesus Christ and what he did for all of humanity through the workings of the cross. No where here have I disrespected others beliefs. They may not like God's truth but by no means is that disrespect on my part for witnessing His words. It is out of love that we go forth and witness. We want ALL people to have an eternal life with Him. His words were breathed out from the beginning. Person.B said: Yes you are belittling people's beliefs. I'm not telling you that you're wrong because we're all entitled to our own beliefs and that's just another opinion. Don't try to say, "But someone out there already belittles me." as a response because I'm talking about right now and treating others how you want to be treated. That has nothing to do with any past behavior of the secular or non-secular, it's about setting an example for respect for other's beliefs.
Jesus is about loving/respecting your fellow man and respecting the beliefs of others, not condemning them. You are going to have to accept that people don't believe what you believe and learn to respect that.

Most of the bosses in KH are pretty pathetic, its not supposed to be a hard game. I mean, Sephiroth will wail on you if you go in there underequipped, and some of the other arena bosses were a challenge, but the main story difficulty was weak.

Talk about powerful imagery.... Fox and the hound? My wife is a Disney buff she could name a lot of movies that have its dark parts. But hell its maleificant it should be dark IMO. I haven't even watched the trailer. Maybe star wars won't be too bad if this pans out?

I never beat Sephiroth T_T or that Phantom guy (he was worse than sephy)

I always thought of Maleficent as being closest to pure evil out of all the Disney villains. I dunno if they'll try to bring sympathy to the character, but I almost hope they don't.

Jafar, Malicefent always where my fav. baddies when i was younger (last few disney movies i added Falicier to my top 3 :P) anyway I'm not a verry big fan of angelina jolie (i always think she looks like a ... well... >_> not gonna use the word here lol) but she looks good in this movie XD (even though i'm not to wild on her playing my fav. baddie).
I'll never get why people always need to get their panties in a knot over everything these days... the original Malicefent was an evil witch too... ._. what did people expect?
I'm personally sceptical about the movie though ^^; i like disney animated movies alot more then their live action once... . :3 but i'll prob. go out and watch it anyway one of my best friends is a big angelina fan).

This movie simply presents an artistic take on a classic Disney tale; it's not telling kids that they need to make pentagrams in their basement and slaughter goats. Besides, the crap on television is much worse. I honestly fear more for those unlucky souls who are exposed to 24 hour "news" channels like Fox News.

Simple fix, if you don't want your children exposed to such things, then don't take them to watch the movie.
It's not up to the entertainment industry to ensure the wellbeing of the nation's children.
Not saying the OP thinks that, but it's tiring seeing people blame one industry or another for the failings of parents.
With all that said, I'm more apt to have my children watch Disney movies than the evening news. I'd rather them be desensitized to witchcraft/sorcery than to murder, rape, war, drug use, and inaccurate weather reports.

Disney movies have always featured or revolved around magic/sorcery/witchcraft. This isn't new.
The first ever animated Disney movie featured a witch that put Snow White into a sleeping death. That's pretty witchcrafty.
