Rich SOB Says Treatment Of Rich Like the Holocast

Would that be the same president that signed the Defense of Marriage Act into law?
Hey now, the point was that Democrats have been pandering to the LGBT community well before last year as someone stated. At the same time, which came first? DoMA or Don't Ask Don't Tell? Sometimes you got to appease the religious right. It's the politics of the business and the business of politics.
Valid point.

Abortions at anytime during pregnancy, late term, partial birth, etc. I know you know what I meant let's not get silly.
In that case:
I find it disgusting that someone (usually men but not always) think they can tell me what I can and cannot do with my body based on interpretations of a religious book and what they believe constitutes murder.
I find it mind-boggling that people believe life begins at conception which they define as sperm meeting egg. Not fertilized egg attaching to the uterus (which does not happen for every fertilized egg), but hey who needs to understand biology.
You called democrats emotional but you are against pro-choice because it is disgusting. Yeah, no emotion expressed there.

You don't find partial birth abortion disgusting and barbaric? You don't find late term abortion where the unborn child is killed then removed piece by piece disgusting and barbaric. I do not invoke religion when discussing abortion. I invoke reality and science. It isn't like we cannot clearly see with today's technology as plain as day a living child inside a pregnant woman. You can try to cover your eyes, but you are ignoring an absolute truth.
In 30 years, feel free to pretend that you never supported it like everyone else will when you are viewed as barbaric.

Partial birth abortions was a method of abortion that was not based on a set gestational age and is more dangerous than most abortions. It was more dangerous because there was usually a medical reason to use it, as well. The procedures still in use for later term abortions aren't any prettier and still have health consequences, but it's a trade off between death and life.
Late term abortions are defined differently, so you would have to give me the gestational age you are referring to.
At 18-20~ weeks you can find out certain debilitating and life threatening issues with the fetus via an ultrasound and other more invasive medical methods. Then there are life-and-death situations that can occur in the late second/third trimester where the mother should be the priority, in my opinion, unless she has made a living will specifying otherwise. Most abortions do not occur in the second trimester or beyond but within the first 12 weeks.
However, you've also stated you don't agree with abortions at any point in the pregnancy, not just the ones above and, I'm assuming, in any situation. So while the two examples you set account for less than 11% of all abortions preformed in the US (and less in countries that have better contraceptive coverage) I'm going to ask you why you are lumping first trimester abortions in with the ones mentioned above.
Also just to make sure we are discussing the same time frame: when I say 12 weeks that means 10~ weeks old as the age is calculated from the beginning of the last period with the age adjusted over time as the pregnancy progresses and the fetus progresses based on normal development baselines. This age can vary if there are development issues.
What reality and science are you invoking?
I'm not sure what you mean by not seeing a living child inside a pregnant woman. Ultrasounds: They are pretty advanced in this day in age.

False. I did not say I oppose abortion at any time during a pregnancy. I was talking about people that support abortion at any time during a pregnancy up until the moment the child is actually born. To me once there is a functioning brain and a heart, you have an independent life. Life, I define as self awareness and I choose to err on the side of caution since you can't ask a small fetus "What's up?"
I hope that tumor growing inside of you grows to be a healthy child.

I didn't change a thing I said. They misunderstood and I clarified. If you read it, you can see how it can be taken either way I guess.

So you support abortion at any time during a pregnancy even up til moments before child birth? Yeah, that's sick man.
You intentionally misunderstand what I said. It is clear to anyone that hadn't decided to be confused or preconceived my position.
So what are you saying exactly? That I was prolife and then suddenly changed my mind after Kara invoked her uterus? You're smarter than that. Don't act dumb.

Still want to know why if abortions are this scourge against humanity why the very same opponents of the practice also vehemently oppose contraception and sex ed for young people who make up the majority of unplanned pregnancies. The solution seems to be a hasty retreat back towards demonizing sex and forcing anyone who does have an unplanned pregnancy to die in obscurity.
You know, the poor. The people most likely to use abortion services.

I don't know why people oppose birth control. I understand how those prolife at conception oppose "birth control" that terminates a pregnancy like Plan B, but people that oppose birth control designed to prevent pregnancy make no sense to me. They are few and far between though.

I'm saying that you're prolife and trying to save face by claiming ambiguity in what you said, when there is none, unless you were to use punctuation in there, that's the only way to change the meaning.

The line directly after the one you quoted and didn't understand.
Quote: Plan B One-Step is not the same as RU-486, which is an abortion pill. It does not cause a miscarriage or abortion. In other words, it does not stop development of a fetus once the fertilized egg implants in the uterus. So it will not work if you are already pregnant when you take it.
Still not sure what point you are making that in any way contradicts what Pleebo said, though. This is crap we learned in the 7th grade in the backwoods mining town of 800 that I grew up in.
