First Return To Delkfutt Tower II Clear On Bahamut

As title says, first party to clear Return to Delkfutt Tower II, on VE though, Easy and Normal are insane. Used SCH PLD WHM MNK DRG COR(chaos roll, gallant's roll) higher difficulties will most likely require different setup but we kept it straightforward and popped Angon on Kam while I stunned kam's TP moves and -ga's. Once the fetters come out kill em fast, if they turn clone its gonna get ugly fast. The last move of the fight was 2x TP moves spammed by clone and Kam back to back for a near party wipe. It's speculated the fetters have elemental weakness' and stuff but we kept it just physical dmg and they died fairly easy but spawn pretty quickly. Recommend bringing twilight gear if you at least want to hold out for the duration for w/e crap prize you get.

Haven't been on as much as I would like too but I've only seen 1 celestial nexus fight shout but that was a couple days ago. Not sure if anyone is doing this fight yet on carby since the shouts aren't updating for me on the site.

It's not a difficult fight on Normal. Under 50% he replaces his "Elemental Blade" TP moves by these :
Vaporization (Wind) give him add effect Silence
Glacification (Ice) give him add effect Paralyze
Terrafication (Earth) give him add effect Slow
Liquification (Water) give him add effect Poison
Electrification (Thunder) give him add effect Stun
??? (Fire) give him add effect ???

Each TP move spawn a Fetter add based on the same element.
All Fetters have high PDT/low magic defenses. Formless Strikes is very effective.
<25% he spawns them at a fast rate, we zerged him.
He is stunnable but his TP moves are almost instant.

sounds like BLM is the best bet for fetters then, if dispelga isn't stunned it'll wipe formless and you gotta rely on cor to get it back which over the course of the fight will prove tough, think blm is best bet or normal+

This is just speculation on my part but if not burn fire is normally tied to plague I think (tp down/tic)

Fire is plague, shield block does not block hate reset contrary to early reports. Don't try to pld+rng this without /nin.

It can block hate reset, I've done it multiple times. There is the ones that get through though.

Hate reset on great wheel is not blocked by shield block. I would lose hate after every single one that didn't miss. It's the only move he has that is hate reset. It's VERY noticable, I'd get hit for 0 damage and it would immediately run after our RNG.

the hate reset was kinda annoying but pld kept flash ready for that, formless sounds like a good idea but need that stun ready to stop dispelga, if you plan to do formless having cor for random deal, wildcard should be enough for the duration of the fight but should be practiced on VE prob. I like the sound of BLM for the fetters so party setup should swap cor for brd instead for helping blm w/ MP as well for that. Seems like a few good ways to do it but either way its a really fun fight, as soon as i zoned in Kam was right smack in front of me so i had to warn party to stand still and not run forward so they don't aggro right away, its like SE set us up.

It was a fun fight. But them clones are a ***. >.<;

So may I start a new topic for finishing new RoE objectives right after update, it's still an accomplishment! It's fairly tough for me as nobody else have done it before and idk what to expect :X

anything cool come from the objective after clearing them? and any new quests available from lower jeuno npc for clearing them as well?

Hate reset can probably be fixed with multiple tanks or melee/nin. There is one SKC10 where the mb resets hate with each melee move pretty much and we beat it like this. Unfortunately the drops of those 2 BCs are garbage and the rem's tales are random so nobody is going to farm this *** !

honestly hate reset wasn't so bad, pld handled it pretty well, kam would get maybe 1 hit in on whoever he ran off to before pld got him back. wasn't a big deal, just annoying
