Jeez people, you don't need a specific "secret camp" or tricky method. Just go out to an Adoulin area that has monsters in it. Kill them fast. Set appropriate RoE quests (crystals! mob types by zone! multiple kills!).

The best camp is just one that isn't overcamped by other people. Which is the reason nobody wants to tell their personal camping spot, because fools who can't think for themselves will just come camp right over you (and ruin the exp for you and for themselves) instead of going to any of dozens of other spots with comparable exp/sparks per hour and nobody camping there.

Remember merit parties? It's like that. Just keep moving and chaining/killing fast, with a party you'll probably have an unlimited chain (even solo on PUP the other day I had a neverending chain for the entire ~1 hour I was playing and I got lots of exp/sparks). But it's better than merit parties, because there are lots more camps than a few high level pink birdies in an area that supports only a couple parties. Your only real limitation is amount of mobs, so go grab your own little corner of the world and kill all the things.

I personally enjoy doing it in Monstrosity since there's a monstrosity RoE quest as well that gives 1k sparks, and its only Killing 100 enemies, which is quite easy in monstrosity.

then again, I'm interested in Monstrosity and enjoy playing it. In the short play time i have I've gathered about 75-80k Sparks, At one point I was at about 50k and didn't realize, so i had to blow my sparks on armor lol

Maybe I'm missing something here, but farming tons and tons of sparks all day (at least with the specific intent of just getting sparks instead of just getting them while doing other stuff) seems kinda pointless to me when the AFv2+1 (AF+3? wat are we calling them gaiz) are bottlenecked by drops from the AAs anyway.

I've just met quite a few people that didn't check what you needed other than the Chapters so just thought I'd throw that out.

Given their track record the things will probably start dropping off normal enemies in the next update though
Not sure about others, but for me, I find the RoE equipment to be really good for my mule. I haven't taken my mule to the SKCNM fights either so I was going to buy chapters with him as well.

Also, the Wayfarer and Espial equipment is really good for BLU. A lot of it is actually best-in-slot for some things or only 2nd to the Reforged+1 equipment. The wand is also one of the best (maybe the best) blunt weapons that BLU can use. Not super useful but kinda nice for a few things.

Lastly, Chapters 1-5 for the jobs I don't play very often. Yeah I could do more SKCNM's easily enough, but my friends are all focused on the AA fights now, so I'd rather not waste their time for jobs I rarely play.

Also just gonna throw this out here qutrubs+hornet needle/bee stinger lol
This was actually one of the first things I thought of but I didn't use a dinky weapon. I just took my monk out there with my mule as bard for double march. Killed them too fast (only 16 mobs). I definitely wanna try again with a weak weapon now!

Yeah anyone just starting Monstrosity now would probably make tons of sparks just leveling all the monsters up from 1.

I only had a few level 1's left. And just doing the new bird species is getting me loads of sparks.

So far, I can only average 15k/hr in Terrigan (w/kills, 500+ damage, and crystals active) or 18k/hr in Abyssea pulling two camps of mobs at once, 35 total (500+damage only). I could easily pull more mobs except that deaggro becomes an issue by the time I have picked up 30+. This is solo on PLD.

From other posts this seems way low Sparks/hr. Is there a more efficient area to solo on PLD, or would I simply be better off changing to a different job such as RDM and Chainspell spamming an Abyssea area in hopes of the 30k+ that others have posted?

I am not against SoA areas, but considering I can pull/hold far less SoA mobs and they are more spread out in SoA than Aby/Terrigan level areas it seems that the results would not be significantly better.

THF or NIN in Abyssea - anything. Apoc, Razed Ruins, Sanguine Scythe, gear for crits/crit damage if you don't have at least an 110+dagger/katana. Crits doing 500 all day long, literally takes less than 5 minutes to finish the 500 damage quest if you're fighting constantly.

I gotta say, this works the best for me. Crits proc VERY often, just using eminent dagger main hand and str thochka

Just do it on Qutrub, don't need to crit nor have super good gear, every hit is auto 500+ dmg.
