New Augment Results

Isn't that a semi-common augmented item from ANNM? I find it hard to believe that came from FoV.

Where have the best results been seen?

I did my Igqira weskit twice,
First attempt i got Agi -2 INT -2 MND +2
Second attempt i got Earth element +18

Planning on doing Koenig Shield today,
Does it matter where i do it?

I've been hearing good things about VoS. I have yet to actually do any augmenting, though. It's too random for my tastes.

Yeah I've got a few things that I'd love to try augmenting, too scared that it'll screw them up though... Most of them I couldn't care less if it gives me certain -stats, but if I get the wrong -stat on the wrong piece there's a potential lot of money gone...

So my first attempt at duplicating this gave me vit+2 mnd+1. Not great but not horrible either, going again today to try for that yummy macc.

i just got a coral earring with DEX+1 INT+1 AGI-1 CHR-1... all in all, not that bad. not the STR+ i'm trying for, but i'll get it eventually. did the Yhoator for it. now i need tabs to keep trying ;;

OK so far I did my Macuahuitl +1 and got resist poison +1, bleh. Then I did my Martial Anelace and got attack + 4 Subtle blow +1, better. Now which item do you guys think I should go for next. I want do something that's a little pricier. The better the risk the better the gain, but also a chance of a huge loss too if I get a negative augment. So which one do you guys think:

A. Koenig Shield (That Magic Defense+4 one I saw tempts me to do this.)

B. Tatami Shield (If only it could get Enmity + 2 or higher this would rock.)

C. Dusk Gloves (Some more attack or dmg couldn't hurt.)

D. Chivalrous Chain (As long as it's not negative, lol!)

E. Or my Nikkariaoe. For this reason:

I'm currently working on duoing NIN to 75 with a friend. I go NIN/DNC and she goes NIN/WAR. I main hand the higher DMG AF right now and offhand the Nikkariaoe since I'm the tank and shes the DD so to speak. Although technically I do more damage as I have capped throwing and make my own Juji Shurikens atm. A few more smithing levels and I can make my own Manji Shurikens (which will save me a lot of gil).

well, you can count Nikkariaoe out, as its rare. id say go for the c.chain or dusk

got Chiv.Chain with MACC+1 lol but ok, nice for nin and blu^^

Damn that sucks, it would have been nice to augment that.



Looks I might go for the C. Chain then. I'm working on leveling NIN for my 3rd 75. Not saying that I'll get MACC+1, but I use this item for my WAR, PLD (DD Mode), and eventually NIN. So it seems like the item that if a decent augment appears would be good for all jobs.

LOL! I did my C. Chain just now, got dark + 10... Oh well at least it didn't get anything bad. Might try my Koeing tomorrow. Someone traded their koeing just now with me and got STR+3 lol.

Got MND+1 on mine :< At least it's useful for Bind and Paralyze lol.

For this quest u need 1 of the 20 weapons listed there.
To augment that Butachi. u will need to fight the FoV NM in Valley of Sorrow but u dont know what kind of surprises u'll get ^^

I just got the most awesome Errant slops from Eraser! All the usual stats, but in addition, I got: Dex+1, Vit-1, STR-1, Ranged Attack+1.

Cause that's super useful for blm. :D /toss
