WoE Farming

I'm sure there is a topic about this somewhere, but I didn't see it.

What zone is the best for WoE soloing for coins/liminals/die? Is it more efficient to farm WoE or just to farm gil elsewhere (alex/currency farming)?

Thanx. Been farming 13 and 11 on Mnk/dnc and just not having much luck drop wise.

Fluxes 1-7 can drop coin pouches, 8-11 can drop Frayed Sack of Deviousness, 12-15 can drop Frayed Sack of Liminality.

Can anyone give their experience farming. Just curious how long it would take to farm up a weap assuming I am 2 boxing.

The biggest misconception I see people having about WoE farming is the belief that "scoring" higher increases the likelihood of getting a pouch or whatever. Its as random as Voidwatch, so providing you contribute enough to get a full pool (which in truth is hard NOT to do), you have the same chance as everyone else.

Soloing, in my experience, does not really help at all. Even getting the max (15k) xp will still likely result in getting a chest full of junk.

Anecdotally (although having made 7 empy ws this way is I think a reasonable sample) best results I've had have come when 3-5 people are in a run, as opposed to more. Its almost as if the number of hq drops varies, but does not scale linearly with the number of participant.

PS. You can get both dice and liminals from all fluxes above 8, its just that 8-11 and 12-15 are biased heavily to one type of item/pouch over the other.

9 11 and 13 seem to be the ones everyone does.

I have had the best luck in 11.

I went in /sch and was able to proc one of the NMs with aspir in flux 13. Tried again on other runs but was never able to get another proc. Anyone have any idea on how the procs work in there?

Got once proc with ws in normal birds but it seemed titally random and didnt remember if that helped in drops.

Ditto, usually you just move onto the next once you completed one, over and over again. Everyone seems to know the routine with the wyverns, skeletons, and birds, and with today's content all 3 can pretty much be solo'd by a variety of jobs.

The main reason to do anything other than 9,11,13 is if you need specific types of drops such as certain types of coins. (for the purpose of WS unlocks, 9,11 and 13 all drop devious dies and liminal residue).

I've had the best luck going into those as either PUP/DNC (with a RDM automaton) or Ranger/DNC, I don't usually go as sch.
