Can You Offhand Mandau For 90/95 Trials?

Hello, I recently finished my Mandau and was wondering if I could offhand it for the x5 Quiebitiel and x10 Animated Dagger trials seeing as how they don't have Mercy Stroke conditions, if anyone knows can you let me know please, I do not want to waste a pop on a hypothetical opinion, thank you.

Don't even risk it, it's not like the kills themselves are hard. Just swap on mandau for the NMs.

I'd assume yes, considering you have to offhand Aegis for it's trials, but maybe not!

I would also assume that you can. I remember dual wielding two separate magian daggers for certain weather trials and getting progress on the offhand just the same as the mainhand. That being said, I agree with Dramatica's post above--assumptions and "should be's" don't always come through.

Well it has to be equipped, what else would you do with it?


Obviously you would have to mainhand it for killshots, but the trial description is pretty clear about the conditions for the defeat trials... "target item must be equipped", offhand works for every trial I've ever done (made 6 daggers, 4 swords, and 2 katanas) and I can't imagine why Mandau would be treated any different than any others.

Yes you can, I did it with Mandau off-hand this week.

i recommended you just swap it in during the last 10%, that's how i did my trials, that way i killed it faster during the first 90%

I can also confirm the 'Animated Dagger x10' part but the Quiebitiel I can NOT. Those parchments never want to drop for me so I decided not to even chance it.

Did bcd and xarc offhand, works fine

I offhanded my guttler for trials so dont see why u cant offhand mandau.
