did they not uncap the servers? plus i can't even find the NA/EU servers right now. sigh, just got home for my home time, was hoping all this would of been fixed
but yea they increased the login active player cap to 7800 from 5k, for each world. they said they will monitor it in case they have to increase it again.
Wait is 3102 that issue that was in beta 4? the your character is still logged in even though you are trying to log in?
they should of increased it to 7.8k but kept the limit they had in place. or raised it to 10k for the huge influx of ppl staying logged in so they dont have to worry about queues.
was hoping they might have all this fixed by the time i get home from work. but seeing as how they havent started another emergency maint yet... i doubt it will be fixed within 6 hours
They should of just limited toons to 4 per account instead of 8 and implemented and auto kick. They also should of just made the new servers EU only and moved all the EU players to those servers. The game itself is epic but its just getting to play it now that's the issue.

I believe the issue is more with concurrent connections rather than number of characters created; even if you have 8 characters on each of 5 different servers, you're only connected as one character to one server at a time.
Sweet. cant wait to get home then. hopefully its all good on excalibur
I just wanted to say that I've logged out and in about 3 times today since maintenance ended (most recent being 30 min ago at 5:00 PM CST), and I only got a queue once, and that was 8 people, no error after any attempt.
That's just me though, not sure how others are doing.

Just got kicked for my 2nd time today. 3102 was the first one. I tried logging in earlier today after waiting 20-30 minutes and no luck. I had a 2.5 hour nap and was able to log in no problem after that. I was logged in for like 7 hours, and I just got das booted. Going to wait 20-30 minutes again for this one. Hopefully its fast, but its NA prime time so im doubting it will be.
Is anyone else having a problem that they're getting 90000 error when entering or leaving an instance (dungeon finder) and getting 10102 error after making it back through the Queue?
I just went to help a FC member with a dungeon and now I'm basically locked out of the game!

lucky you... it happened to me and I was able to get back when I was going to my home server, joined a FC member for a dungeon run and now I'm stuck out.... I think it has to do with the conversations between regular server and dungeon finder / instance stuff being swamped!

I think not only you seem problem with duty finder and dungeon
looks like you're allowed back in as soon as you're not in the instance... so good luck getting into any instanced battles / dungeons during prime times until they add even more space / fewer people are playing.
I have only had to wait 5 min to log in 1x since early access. Smart planning on my part, making sure my friends and I were on the EU legacy server yet we are all NA players. We are almost never going to be on during our server peak.

09/03/2013 3:00 AM Server Congestion and Trial Period Extensions (09/03/2013)
We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
Since the beginning of official service on August 27, 2013, the number of users attempting to access the game has significantly exceeded our initial estimates. While we are pleased to see support for the game reach far beyond our expectations, the servers were not prepared to handle this influx of players. As a result, our servers have been pushed beyond maximum capacity. In order to allow access to as many users as possible, we have implemented login and character creation restrictions. We understand, however, that these restrictions have greatly inconvenienced our players.
To resolve this issue, we will be performing maintenance from September 3, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. to September 4, 2013, at 3:00 a.m (PDT), for the purpose of increasing the number of available Worlds, reducing stress on the Duty Finder servers, and increasing the number of concurrent logins allowed for each server.
Because login and character creation restrictions have hindered our ability to provide quality service, all FINAL FANTASY XIV service accounts will receive an additional seven days of free play time. Furthermore, users who have yet to enter their registration codes will receive an additional seven-day trial should they register before 11:59 p.m. (PDT) on September 9, 2013. Moving forward, we will continue monitoring the servers to ensure that quality service and support are provided in a timely manner.
