Yeah. I would go through a long period of working retardedly long shifts, then get a bunch of nothing, and then get the odd 2hr shift.

I don't think I would have ever taken the job if I didn't have to, was pretty brutal working environments. >.>;
Forgot to mention, not every Canadian gets shitty pays/taxes/jobs/etc. <.< So I wouldn't take me as a good example, was just that job. All my co-workers left, so I don't even know if the company is running anymore, lol.

God Id love a full time job where I could work all 40 hours in like 2-3 days and have the rest off. Even with taking a day to rest you still got lots of time to yourself
Hmmm thats an idea since alot of that is just really being on call...or could work on an oil rig... though thats more like just live there for a week each month working long hours and getting paid for a full months work practically or at least that was what a friend of mine was offered

kids will always be resilient, no matter how pampered and/or bratty they are.
The more pampered they are the less resilient they will be... more importantly they wont think they are so theyll come crying everytime. Now one of my nephews... that kid is amazing. Like by the time he was 3 hed had stitches on his head like 4 times I think. And each time only cried after the fact when people started fussing lol
See now I married into this so how my daughter is now is reflected upon the treatment she got from mom the past 6 yrs. We're tryin' to get her away from it, but it just resort to more like those kids on Super Nanny. I'm just on the verge of taking all her stuff away and leaving her with the basics to live with the hopes it'll click something positive in her head.
