I think part of the problem with society today and why there is such a high divorce rate is because people expect perfection, when there is no such thing. Everyone has flaws. Not only that but... I'm gunna get mushy here but if you love someone, you deal with their imperfections, and you love them just the way they are. When its for real you don't expect it, it just happens. When I first met Tou I didn't even like him like that, and we've been together for 3 years and he has his flaws like I have mine, but we get past it. There is more to the relationship than getting everything you want in the other person.

For example most people would consider cheating kinda a deal breaker...
But that isn't an imperfection in the person, its a situation that occurs. I'm talking stuff like, something stupid about looks, or some stupid thing they do that might annoy you, or something like that. Not things that hurt you. I wouldn't want to be in a relationship where the person is intentionally hurtful to me. People make mistakes but if you're around them enough their true colors will show through. Which is another reason I think divorce rates go up... the people simply don't know each other well enough when they decide to get married.
