There is no problem doing CB while lfp. You will gain exp and AN, which will unlock some seriously good and underrated gear for free.
Making parties is really fun and easy though. You see, there are loads of people like you that also don't like making parties that will just cry for an invite. It would be useful if you had a leveling tank or a rdm friend.

Lol, you can try forming a party with any job, really. Unless you invited an elitist ***, I think people will give you a fair chance to make it work.

I tried getting my old LS to lemme do promies on BST. I even proved I could deal equal damage as WARs (Cuz I has a pet, yo.), but NOOOO... XP
@Belsh: I would certainly hope so, because I would extend that same courtesy if somebody with an oddball combo invited me to their party.

Yes, well, to be perfectly fair you have to have some inclination to lead the party. You'll need to know where to camp and you'll sometimes need to steer your members. It doesn't mean you have to a fantastic leader. You learn most camps when you're leveling with other people when you were a nub. You'll just need to know how to direct the other party members.
For example: if you have a pt with a nin and a thf, they will almost never do SATA, you'll actually have to tell them to position and you'll have to arrange the first voke etc etc.

I don't like the role RDM is trapped in, so I'm gonna RDM/BST it to 37-40. xP I know about /SCH, I've heard that's great especially when soloing in places with Djinn. And I've duoed with a /DNC, it was great fun. :D
I've been going /WHM mostly, though. Never seen a BST/SAM, but did try out /THF when I camped Hoo Mjuu for my Monster Signa.

/rdm and /whm are essentially equal, you gain Phalanx, lose MP, gain enspells and spikes, so both are useful, /sam is just for like if you want to DD with a scythe idk lol, /thf farm, /sch has uses like /whm /rdm. etc

Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.

Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
