I had a friend that lvl'd a mithra PLD. He actually did a very good job at it the last time I partied with him.
Gonna leave work in 10 minutes cause I dun feel like being here anymore
RNG is more interesting.. but I feel I could do well at Paladin.

I normally get off at 250 central. I'm only still here trying to get 9 hours day so I only have to use 4 hours of leave for monday. Stupid contract doesn't give enough holiday days. Its non stop work. I think that leveling WHM gives me a slight advantage if I decide to level PLD for sure. I'm used to being constantly busy when doing something. I'd just show up at work and play games then. We end up keeping it hush when our civilian can't get holiday time for those holidays.

What pisses us off is the way they handle contractors during hurricane evacuation. Everyone else is covered 100% for hotels, etc (within reason, of course). Contractors aren't covered at all. For Gustav I ended up going to my in-laws instead of being able to get far enough that we weren't in danger (if it hit in our area). All they care about is getting some labor out of you. You're just someone to keep continuity. Our contracts state that we must keep all civilians employed before military starts helping with the workload.

I'm authorized to be on base anytime. I'm also on multiple access lists. It's ridiculous. See you're not activated though so you don't count based on the rules. We have the same thing here. We really don't have a civilian that is willing to work a minute late to help push a vehicle out. They say they can get in trouble, but we all know that wouldn't happen since it was free labor.
EDIT: Wife is applying for a bartender position at the base club. If she gets it then I can take a shot at a EGLS for those days she works. Sure, I take advantage of some of the rules (not shaving, etc.), but that's besides the point. I can work late all I want. As with all DoD Civilians. To get OT pay they need a huge justification on why you had to work over your time.
It was a hassle in AK during winter when we ran 24hr operations for snow removal. Civilian on my shift was making 3.5x/hr because of the 2nd and 3rd shift hours. Yeah on the shipyard swings/mids are automatically get 2X and obviously more if its OT. Evne more on holidays too

Unless its that avatar they have been promising us so long now, and that was "supposed" to be included in WotG package. |
