If I made one it took me just as long to get 75 on my BLM. Now I hit 75 back in '07 so it's been 2 years and I've had no change in equip since then.

October 2007 to May of 2009 was my longest gap in play time. I think I had taken a break for most of 2006 as well (and came back Feb of '07)

I had a year break for 9 months of 2008 due to deployment and I had 6 months in 2007 due to deployment. 2 of those months was me going through FF withdrawls.
Took me forever because I decided to put my stuff off to help LS members. I say at 50-53 for most of the time.

I remember it took me exactly 5 months to go from when i started to hit 75 pld then like 6 months later i had blm 8 months after that i had nin, and soon sam i hope. I'm just stoked i finished nyzul that was a nice weight to have lifted now its all about farming :)

Back in Feb of '07 I started a thread in my old LS's forum to archive my leveling on beastmaster. Obviously that didn't last long. I kept the thread going just in general to discuss different things with the LS as I progressed. In June/July I moved it to the new LS's forum (same folks, new LS).

SAM is the only melee DD that's being invited fast. I need to start leveling sch and dnc. I really need to get nin to 37, but still no Ni scroll.
SAM is my priority to get to 37 so I can get DRG to 75.

One thing I liked about WHM is that AH gear is pretty respectable. Sure, I have pieces that I need to upgrade, but I'm fully functional as is. Aside from one close-minded person complaining about no /SCH, I haven't had a problem with XP PTs or events.
(Seriously, if you need /SCH in a merit party then your setup probably sucks and isn't worth my time anyway.)

Also, I went DNC to CoP 4-3 last night. I really enjoy it. Unfortunately, I don't see it getting many invites. I've leveled it to 52 almost entirely in dunes / qufim level sync PTs. (I have done some skilling up so my dagger skills aren't that far behind)

SAM is my priority to get to 37 so I can get DRG to 75. Yeah, b/c of Sam's awesomeness. I need to get my Drg to 35/40 asap for my Sam's Wyvern Earring and Jump/High Jump. Go go 25% Haste.

I just hate that the game isn't much of a melting pot anymore. It's SAMx4, BRD orCOR, WHM or RDM for the ultimate PT. I think I'll just lvl sync my nin for dunes parties when that time comes.
I play SAM like I'm a noob. I eat cheap sushi and stack STR gear. I still miss alot and Tachi hits for like 50 lol.
Edit: As of 2010-10-05 14:48:06 CST, Ni reached 10,000 pages.
Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Kungfu is the LS nutjob, spouting super random things that are usually sexist, until Savvy or Alyria comes into the room. Then he's a classic case of sexual harrassment. Rumaha is also true to the second part; we're wondering about his sexuality though.
Daj is Ludoggy's gay lover. Not much else is known about this Asuran. Tairo is kinda new, but since is a female and Alyria's lesbian lover, she fit right in real quick.
Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
