I suddenly feel at least a little better about a few of the temporary fixes I've got going on right now. so my dad uses a mac laptop for his side job. yadda yadda.
yesterday, it got hit by ramsonware. he called. he paid. he signed. he gave remote access. they remotely installed a bogus antivirus. as hes telling me all this... MFW... ಠ_ಠ im liked GDI, I have been warning you about these all these years, and when sketchy stuff happens he always calls or lets me know.... so made him call the bank, get a new card, see if he can cancel the charge... nope. change all the passwords to his accounts on his other computer. mac laptop has been in quarantine, off the network, later today we will take it to the mac store, see if there is damage or how to void all remote access and ***, also so they can remove that ***bogus security software. /sigh yv;sdklkbvl;dxbvld;xzvub'iadsbvdli;adui vxzcl;lh dvdsdzx. pretty shitty. they infect your computer, have them paid to get it "fixed" , they get access to your comp, and still get their hands on the CC info, and have the person sign off. pretty ***scam there.

They are good... as simple end user products. However, once you've been exposed to all the features and customizable aspects of Windows and Linux, you find it pretty restricted.

we could have wasted a lot of time arguing about the differences between constitutional republics and dynastic totalitarian monarchies...but I was stupid hungry for fried food.
