I'm traditionally against elective cosmetic surgery for anything that wasn't due to some other pathology (cancer, burns, etc.) But in the past year or so I've sort of come around to being a bit more open-minded. If it gives people confidence, they should do what they like. They're probably not trying to attract me anyhow, so wtf do they care what I think?

Kind of my thoughts on it, Ramy.
In HS, we had a girl with a not so distinct cleft palate who had that taken care of. She was out for a couple months of the soccer/track season. One of my buddies had to get breast reduction surgery when we were sophomores in college. She was already experiencing back pain. Although, within the same year, another one was fiddling around with the idea of getting breast implants after her first kid. Why? Thank goodness she let that go to the wayside after some time. She didn't need it at all. In retrospect, I guess it was the post-birth shock? My roommate Freshman year of college had her nose taken care of in HS. It was somewhat seamless, if you didn't already know. Those four instances were the only ones I've been confronted with. /shrug EDIT: The one with the nose job was from Highland Park (where GW retired to). From what I had gathered, Highland Park *** be RUTHLESS!

I was operating under the "porn stars and starlets" idea also, I mulled it over in my mid-twenties, because of a multi-year relationship that crumbled which brought about a few insecurities. After reading up on it, putting the skin-crawling thoughts of a scalpel aside, I don't know how anyone would opt into the recovery time where you're down for the count. I've tossed around the mastectomy scenario a few times since breast cancer is prevalent on my mother's side. I've seen chemo/dialyses up close and personal. EDIT: It's been reported that breast-feeding can stave off breast cancer, and the generations that were riddled with it (particularly my grandmother's), it was considered "low class" not to formula feed. Shane was in boxing mode for like 2 hours straight last night, which tends to be exhausting for a 33 year old smoking desk sitter, so around the 1 hr 45 min mark I just pinned him with a leg. my son hates, absolutely HATES, any kind of restraint. I don't know why, but ever since he was born, it was no swaddling, ect, ect. well he's evolving. whereas it used to be wailing, whining, pissing and moaning, it's now pure toddler psychological warfare. he got all calm and said "I don't like you dad". "well maybe you'll have to sleep out back then" I retorted. stone-faced, he coolly told me "I don't love you either". The little *** knows he can't best me physically, so he's attacking my downtrodden heart and alcohol riddled brain with mental jabs. the nerve of this boy. I let him up, and it was immediate giggling and proud beaming that he'd tricked his father into letting him go. back to jumping on the couch and punching my shoulders like a stoned chimp. this kid.

Kid musings: A couple of weekends ago (when we were fortunate enough not to be drenched), I got it in my head that I was going to wash the exterior-side of the windows while teh beau was dinking around in the yard. Stuck one in the play-yard, the other is fine free-range. Anyway, when naptime for the play-yard bound one came around the bend, I took no more than five to ten minutes putting him down and returned to the unruly one washing the windows with the Shark (the steam floor cleaner) without the pad and stagnant muddy water! He such a great "helper". I like it more when he simply "supervises" the operation, though. I think I'm just going to invest myself on interior-side now, and to Hell with how windows look from the exterior. It could always be mud-smeared worse.

friday: dont remember ***- saturday, went across the border, with money this time, had breakfast, went to the anime shop, sadly no league of legends figures, but picked up 2 figures. liked 2 from another booth but overpriced, even by USD standards. went to the movies, saw Captain America, decen movie, not as good as Winter Soldier. Sunday- D&D and stuff. So, pretty hyped for Battleborn, and later down the month, Overwatch. BB releases tomorow, while OW the 23rd. pretty good time to enjoy both, right? well... no. Blizzard pretty much said *** YOU (on purpose I suspect)as it is opening their beta on the 3rd for early access and normal open beta on the 4th or 5th.... ***.
