I'll admit to donning a Cheshire cat grin while booting people from the party before the tele for shits and gigs. When I came back, there were those tele stations in town. Sad BLM. Cut some fun out of it sometimes.
One JP taxi forgot to charge me. I felt bad and sent him the Gil then a /tell explaining in masterful use of auto-translate.

Knowing the bunk state of the auto-translator, I'm afraid to ask. Inquiring minds must know! Is this a good story or a bad story?

If I was going to be a *** with the teleporting, I'd have a friend who would be a RDM with BLM (For D2) and then right as I was about to finish the tele

CHAIN SPELL AND WARP II their little *** back to their homepoint.

Best teleport stories:

One of our WHM hits her Yhoat macro in the middle of Dynamis-Xarc aaaaaaaand ventrilo explodes with WHAT THE ***??? followed by alot of angry people / laughter. Do NOT macro your teleport spells near your curekit.

Bokeli/Hsisi were Lakshmi's resident RMT telebots. Essentially they started as people detested by the community but the bizarre way that the people operating the characters were kind and made these enthusiastic Engrishy macros whenever you paid them made them a lovable sight.

Some of the people operating those accounts wouldn't even take money for whatever reason so that only made the deal sweeter.

Mil and I were Bhaflau Thickets as THF and BRD. We set-up the party and got a RDM to heal.

It wasn't Birdhair, but it was Birdhair-lite. He insisted in meleeing......

We asked him to stop and do his job. Maintain haste on the party and cure....that was too difficult a concept.

Can't remember if Mil used SATA on him, probably.

We replaced him for a PLD/NIN friend (during a time when PLD's did not get parties) and the party went successfully on.

To this very day I have a very hard time accepting BLU, melee RDM or WHM, etc. all because of knowing -- and actually otherwise being friends with -- some extremely irritating people of those jobs/persuasions.

Like the person who loved playing smn/drg in ~2005...

Yeah. Trying to find the worst Christmas songs is ultimately an exercise in punishing yourself in ways you probably don't deserve.

Except Nik.

Nik, go listen to all the Christmas songs so we're sure which is the worst. That's a task suited to you.

I can't give name to the worst Christmas song every, but it's assuredly done by either a country or R&B artist, it's set to some generic smooth, boring backing music with a little "flare" for their own genre peppered in, it has sleigh bell sounds in it somewhere, and it won't shut up about God long enough to actually let you enjoy the good Christmas feels.

*same 4 notes play on repeat*
It's Christmas time. The lord Jesus has been born.
It's Christmas time. Spend time with your family, and Jesus.
It's Christmas time. Let us be surrounded in love and Christ.
It's Christmas time. The lord has come.

*chorus*
Jesus, God, Mary, Joseph. Christmas cheer and jingle bells. Jesus, God, Mary, Joseph. Let us enjoy the holiday spirit.

Oh man am I going to be so rich now.

Can we remove a few hours from today and add it to next week? Any day after Tuesday is fine.

I know I ended up going BLM/NIN a lot, often acting as the SATA partner, or pulling in dynamis, or a lot of other strange things just fooling around.

I remember when we were doing Tenzen in CoP, with PLD BLM BLM SAM RNG WHM (or some such), and ended up with Kara and I using icarus wings and staff WSes to start multi-step skillchains while magic bursting (and using lots of mulsums).
That's basically the thing I very much liked about XI; there were certainly optimal setups, but you could definitely bend the envelope to handle/allow different jobs. Definitely not so with XIV.
